      Lodolo (groin) threw a successful extended bullpen session Wednesday and is set to throw off the mound again Saturday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

      Advice: Assuming he comes out of Saturday's session without any hiccups, Lodolo will be set to return from the 15-day injured list to start against the Cardinals on Monday, the first day he'll be eligible for activation.       Advice: Marte singled in his first at-bat to extend his hitting streak to 23 games and later added a solo homer to lead off the eighth, giving the Diamondbacks a 5-0 lead. The long ball was the second baseman's fifth this month and he's now recorded at least one RBI in three of his last five games, batting .318 over that brief stretch.       Advice: Arozarena had a surge in power for the first two weeks of May, but he has struggled for the last week. In his last seven games, he has hit just .172 with a 29 percent strikeout to go along with three runs scored and no RBI.       Advice: Marte came into this one riding a 20-game hitting streak. He extended it to 21 games right away with a base hit in the first inning. Marte later took Ryan Yarbrough deep for a solo homer in the eighth inning.       Ryan McMahon went 2-for-6 with a two-run homer to lift the Rockies to a 4-3 win over the Athletics on Wednesday.

      Advice: McMahon had knocked a single in the ninth, then came through in a big spot in the 12th inning. With a runner on in a tie game, he took Kyle Muller deep for a go-ahead two-run blast.       Peralta (3-3) took the loss Wednesday against Miami, allowing one run on four hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Peralta was locked into a pitcher's duel with Jesus Luzardo, with a leadoff home run by Jazz Chisholm in the first inning being enough to push Peralta into the loss column. Still, fantasy managers saw the dominant version of Peralta that garnered early Cy Young consideration before his ERA ballooned from 1.90 on April 19 to 4.17 before Wednesday's outing. Through the ups and downs, Peralta's strikeout production has maintained, with 71 K's across 56.2 innings on the year.       Freddy Peralta fired seven one-run innings on Wednesday striking out seven and walking one in a loss to the Marlins.

      Advice: Peralta’s only mistake was a 3-1 fastball to Jazz Chisholm in the first inning that wound up in the seats. Even in that at-bat Peralta missed some borderline pitches to fall behind. Still, he was fantastic Wednesday after scuffling to a 6.19 ERA May. He likely has better times ahead while his strikeout rate stays high and walk rate stays manageable.       The Padres placed Bogaerts on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a fractured left shoulder.

      Advice: Bogaerts suffered the injury on an awkward dive Monday in Atlanta. According to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune, the infielder doesn't appear to be dealing with any damage to his labrum and will avoid surgery, but he'll need significant down time for the shoulder to heal. Bogaerts intends to play again this season, perhaps by the latter part of the summer.
