    • Few concerns about slump
Olson hasn't hit a home run in 18 straight games, slashing .167/.291/.242 over that stretch with three doubles, one triple and seven RBI, but he remains among the league leaders in key hitting metrics, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Despite the first baseman's lack of production in April, Olson sits in the 97th percentile in hard-hit rate and average exit velocity on the season, numbers comparable to what he posted during his career-best 2023 campaign. It seems only a matter of time before the 30-year-old gets dialed in and begins racking up hits and homers. Rotowire.com Today, 7:04 am

    • Walks it off
O'Neill went 1-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Cubs.

Advice: O'Neill delivered a walk-off single after the Red Sox squandered a 4-0 lead. His blooper to left against an infield playing in plated Jarren Duran with the winning run. For O'Neil, who was 0-for-3 at the time, the single extended hit streak to seven games, during which he's 11-for-27 with three home runs, five RBI and six runs scored. • Opens scoring with homer
Estrada went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Estrada opened the scoring when he took Jared Jones deep in the third inning. Estrada has gone 2-for-7 over two games since he recovered from a minor hamstring issue. The second baseman is slashing a modest .235/.255/.422 with four homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases through 28 contests. His power is in line with previous years, but Estrada logged 20-plus steals in both 2022 and 2023, so it's a little unusual to see him getting less involved on the basepaths. • Shuts down Dodgers
Gausman (1-3) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and no walks across seven innings against the Dodgers. He struck out five.

Advice: The lone run against Gausman came in the sixth inning on a homer by Freddie Freeman. After allowing 12 earned runs over 7.1 innings in his first three starts, Gausman has rounded into form with just two earned runs allowed across 18.2 frames since. He'll look to keep the ball rolling during a weekend road series against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:54 pm

    • Tyler O’Neill delivers walk-off RBI single Sunday
Tyler O’Neill delivered a walk-off RBI single in the ninth inning on Sunday, propelling the Red Sox to a 5-4 victory over the visiting Cubs.

Advice: With runners at the corners and no one out in the ninth inning, O’Neill blooped a splitter from Mark Leiter Jr. off of the outstretched glove of Dansby Swanson and into left field to plate Jarren Duran with the game-winning run. It was his only hit in four at-bats on the evening, though he also drew a walk in the contest. For the season, the 28-year-old slugger is now hitting .329/.447/.729 with nine long balls, 12 RBI and a stolen base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm

    • Stays hot against Tampa Bay
Jimenez went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Jimenez was able to single and then come around to score on an RBI single by Robbie Grossman in the bottom of the fourth. He later added two more base knocks in the contest, notching his second straight multi-hit performance and his fourth in the last nine games. Over that stretch, Jimenez has batted .351 with three home runs, eight RBI, seven runs scored, three walks and a stolen base over 37 at-bats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:47 pm

    • Bello expected back “sooner rather than later”
Red Sox’ skipper Alex Cora told reporters on Sunday that Brayan Bello (lat) is making great progress in his recovery and is expected back “sooner rather than later”.

Advice: That certainly qualifies as an encouraging update for the injured right-hander. It’s unclear if Bello will require a minor league rehab start or not before rejoining the Red Sox rotation, but it’s sounding like he could be ready to be activated from the injured list when first eligible, or shortly after. • Eloy Jiménez goes 3-for-4 in Rays’ victory
Eloy Jiménez had three singles in four at-bats against the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: It’s his first three-hit game since he had four hits last Aug. 30. He went 6-for-14 with a homer and a double in three-game sweep of the Rays, raising his OPS from .613 to .759. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:02 pm

    • Kevin Gausman stifles Dodgers in win
Kevin Gausman allowed one run on five hits in seven innings in a win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Gausman also struck out five and walked nobody on the day. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, but that’s to be expected against the Dodgers. Gausman allowed four extra-base hits and was only able to post a 17 percent whiff rate. He also saw his velocity down slightly on both his four-seam and splitter but nothing concerning. He continues to have some issues throwing the splitter for strikes with just a 26 percent zone rate on the pitch. Still, it’s certainly a start you’re happy with against an offense like the Dodgers. Gausman’s ERA is now down to 4.50 and he’ll get the Nationals next weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm
