    • Immaculate day at plate
Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 5-1 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ohtani moved into a tie for first place in the majors with his ninth and 10th home runs of the season, and his perfect day at the dish also brought his average up to .364, vaulting him past the Phillies' Alec Bohm (.360) for the best mark in baseball. The lefty-hitting Ohtani did all his damage against southpaws, opening the day with a two-run blast in the first inning and base hits in the third and sixth innings off Max Fried before tacking on a 464-foot solo shot off A.J. Minter in the eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 am

    • MLB updates ruling Friday
MLB changed the official scoring on a play during Friday's game, which left Houck charged with three earned runs over six-plus innings, not four, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: A fielder's choice in the seventh inning was updated to a throwing error by catcher Reese McGuire. The ruling drops Houck's season ERA to 1.99 and gives him a sixth quality start. Rotowire.com Today, 6:21 am
    • Breaks RBI drought
Carroll went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 11-4 win over San Diego.

Advice: Carroll delivered a two-run single as part of Arizona's four-run first inning, snapping a 16-game drought without an RBI. He's hit in five of the last six games (6-for-22), which is a positive sign for the slumping outfielder, but Carroll's bat still lacks impact. Through 33 games, he has seven RBI, four extra-base hits and a .250 slugging percentage. Rotowire.com Today, 5:32 am
    • Goes deep in loss
Merrill went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 11-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Merrill took Ryne Nelson deep to right center in the second to open up the scoring for the Padres and later notched a single off the bat at 102.4 mph. He's now tallied a hit in each of his last three games and has five RBI over that span after going on a mini slump to end the month of April. The 21-year-old rookie has put together some solid numbers at the plate early on, slashing .284/.333/.388 with two homers, 16 RBI, 16 runs, four steals and a 9:20 BB:K in 127 plate appearances. • Jackson Merrill homers in loss to Arizona
Jackson Merrill went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The rookie launched a 394-foot home run in the second inning and also had a 102.4 mph single later in the game. Merrill is more of a contact-oriented hitter, so the exit velocities are nice to see as we dream on his power upside. The 21-year-old is slashing .284/.333/.388 with two home runs and 16 RBI on the year. He’s a better real-life player than a fantasy player, but he has enough tools to be a high-floor fantasy asset, especially if you need batting average. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:35 pm
    • Ohtani posts four hits, two homers to beat Braves
Shohei Ohtani went 4-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored on Sunday, leading the Dodgers to a 5-1 win over the Braves.

Advice: This guy is pretty good. Ohtani got things started in the first inning with a 412-foot two-run shot off of Max Fried and then absolutely annihilated a 464-foot solo homer in the eighth inning that left the bat at 110.6 mph. Ohtani now has 10 home runs and 25 RBI on the season. There’s not much you can do if you don’t already have him on your team, but you can admire the talent. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:36 pm

    • Out of Sunday's lineup
Moreno is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Moreno started the first two games of the series and will sit Sunday afternoon after going 2-for-7 with an RBI. Tucker Barnhart will step in behind the plate and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:05 pm
    • Snaps team scoreless streak
Steer went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Orioles.

Advice: Steer's ninth-inning single plated Cincinnati's lone run, marked his team-leading 23rd RBI and snapped the club's 26-inning scoreless streak at home. The Reds started five players batting .200 or lower and have had issues scoring of late, batting .185 with 78 strikeouts over the last eight games (six losses). Steer's .333 average and .639 slugging with runners in scoring position could be more helpful if the Reds can get on base in front of him. The club ranks 27th in MLB with a .292 on-base percentage. • Mashes eighth homer
Ohtani went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ohtani kicked off the bottom of the third with a leadoff home run, jumping on a hanging four-seamer from Bryce Elder to give the Dodgers a 3-0 lead. The superstar slugger also drove in a second run on a single in the fourth and finished the contest with three hits for the fourth time this season. Ohtani has now driven in at least one run in eight of his last 11 games, and he extended his hitting streak to four games with Saturday's performance. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:45 am
