    • Fans seven over six frames
Littell allowed one run on six hits while striking out seven over six innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: The only run Littell allowed on the night came across in the first inning when the right-hander allowed a leadoff double to Brandon Nimmo to open the frame followed by an RBI single from Starling Marte. From there, Littell went on to retire 10 of the next 11 batters he faced, with six of those batters going down on strikeouts. It marked the fourth start this season in which he's allowed one run or fewer, and he's now gone six innings in three straight, posting a 20:0 K:BB over that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:25 am

    • Zack Littell delivers another strong outing Saturday
Zack Littell struck out seven and allowed one run over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Mets.

Advice: Littell got into trouble early when Starling Marte connected for an RBI single in the opening frame, but that was all that New York’s offense would generate for the remainder of the contest. The 28-year-old righty continues to impress with his four straight outing with at least six strikeouts, while also boasting elite control. He’ll bring a solid 3.00 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 42/5 K/BB ratio across 39 innings (seven starts) into a home outing on Friday against the Yankees. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:30 pm

    • Continues to impress
Lively (1-1) earned the win over the Angels on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and three walks while striking out five batters over six innings.

Advice: Lively got through four scoreless frames before the Angels posted a run in the fifth, but that was all the scoring the right-hander ended up allowing. The soon-to-be 32-year-old has yielded exactly one run in each of his past three starts, and he's given up a total of five earned runs across 21.2 innings on the season for a sterling ERA of 2.08. It's a bit difficult to imagine Lively continuing this level of success given that he entered the campaign with a 5.05 ERA across 208.2 career innings as a major-leaguer, and his Statcast numbers show that despite his strong start to the season, he has given up plenty of hard contact while rarely getting batters to chase. However, it's also worth noting that his strikeout numbers have tangibly risen -- Lively had a career 6.9 K/9 prior to this season but is at a 10.0 K/9 through four starts this year. • Ben Lively completes six frames in win over Halos
Ben Lively allowed one run over six innings on Saturday in a win over the Angels.

Advice: Lively got plenty of run support from Cleveland’s lineup and managed to limit Los Angeles’ injury-depleted lineup to just one run on four hits and three walks over six nearly-scoreless frames. He notched five strikeouts despite generating just six swinging strikes and finishing with a lackluster 25 percent CSW. He’s allowed two earned runs or fewer, while posting at least five strikeouts, in four consecutive starts since April 17. There’s at least some streaming appeal here for fantasy managers in deeper formats. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:55 pm

    • Pete Fairbanks ready to start rehab on Tuesday
Pete Fairbanks (nerve issue) will begin a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Durham on Tuesday.

Advice: The 30-year-old hurler has been out since April 22 due to a nerve-related condition that caused him difficulty in gripping the baseball. He should only need an outing or two there before he’s ready to rejoin the Rays’ bullpen. Rotoworld Friday, 2:27 pm

    • Rehab assignment starting soon
Fairbanks (arm) is set to begin a rehab stint at Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reported Friday.

Advice: Fairbanks has been dealing with a nerve issue in his throwing arm and after receiving positive results on testing done in late April, he's set to see game action. It's unclear how long his stint in Durham will be, but once Fairbanks is back with the Rays, expect him to reclaim closing duties from Jason Adam and Garrett Cleavinger. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:14 pm

    • Yields one run in no-decision
Lively didn't factor into the decision Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks against Atlanta. He struck out five.

Advice: Lively has yet to allow more than two runs in a start this season. However, he's gone deeper than five innings in only one of his three appearances. He was pulled at 88 pitches (53 strikes) Sunday and didn't give up a home run for the first time all year. In 15.2 innings, Lively owns a 2.30 ERA with a 10.9 K/9, a massive improvement from his 5.38 ERA and 8.0 K/9 from 2023. He's projected for a start against the Angels on Saturday. • Quality start in loss
Littell (1-2) picked up a loss after he pitched six innings, giving up two runs on eight hits while striking out six batters in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Littell opened the game with three scoreless innings before Chicago scratched across a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth, including an RBI single by Danny Mendick, which gave the White Sox a 2-1 lead. Littell was able to return to form and pitch two more scoreless frames before exiting after the sixth, securing his first quality start since March 30. The 28-year-old will carry a 3.27 ERA into his next projected start Saturday at home versus the Mets. Rotowire.com Apr 28, 4:01 pm

    • Zack Littell solid in loss to White Sox
Zack Littell pitched six innings of two-run ball in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Littell has a 3.27 ERA and a 35/5 K/BB ratio after six starts, but he’s just 1-2 and the Rays are 2-4 in his outings. He’ll get the Mets next time out. Rotoworld Apr 28, 2:02 pm
