• Sent to Triple-A
The Twins optioned Martin to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.

Advice: As anticipated, Martin will forfeit his spot on the 26-man active roster with the Twins reinstating Carlos Correa (intercostal) from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Martin's demotion should clear the way for Trevor Larnach to man left field on an everyday basis, at least against right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago

  • Expected to head to minors
The Twins are expected to option Martin to Triple-A St. Paul ahead of Monday's game against the White Sox, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Shortstop Carlos Correa (oblique) is on track to come off the 10-day injured list Monday, and Martin looks like he'll move off the 26-man active roster in a corresponding move. Martin has been a near-everyday player for Minnesota since being called up from Triple-A on March 30 while slashing .226/.294/.371 across 68 plate appearances, but the Twins aren't expected to have regular at-bats available for both him and Trevor Larnach with Correa back in the fold and with Max Kepler recently coming off the IL. As a result, Martin will be the odd man out and head back to Triple-A, while Larnach should continue to play regularly versus right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com Today, 10:19 am

  • Bangs out triple in 2024 debut
Myers went 1-for-3 with a triple and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Getting the start in right field and batting seventh in his season debut with the Marlins, Myers ripped a three-bagger off Patrick Corbin in the first inning and came around to score on Vidal Brujan's own triple in the very next at-bat. While he's in the majors, Myers will likely be deployed primarily against southpaws behind Miami's outfield trio of Jazz Chisholm, Jesus Sanchez and Nick Gordon, all of whom hit left-handed. If he gets hot at the plate though, the offense-starved Marlins could give Myers more playing time than expected. Rotowire.com Today, 7:31 am

  • Provides clutch three-run homer
Tauchman went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Tauchman instilled some life in the Cubs, as he was able to tie the game up with a three-run homer in the eighth off of Chris Martin. The 33-year-old has been the Cubs' best hitter over the last week and a half, slashing .400/.500/.743 with three homers, nine RBI, eight runs and a 6:8 BB:K over 11 games since April 17. The Cubs will have a crowded outfield once they get the likes of Cody Bellinger (ribs) and Seiya Suzuki (oblique) back from their respective injuries, but for now Tauchman is seizing his opportunity as an everyday player. • Three-hit effort in win
Fitzgerald went 3-for-3 with a double and one run scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Fitzgerald has recorded three multi-hit games this season, and he's batting .313 with a .915 OPS over 34 plate appearances. He remains in a utility role, but he's done well when in the lineup, posting one home run, three RBI, six runs scored, two doubles, a triple and four stolen bases. Fitzgerald's lack of an everyday role limits his fantasy viability, and his best chance at playing time is at shortstop, though Nick Ahmed has held his own there by batting .262 over 27 contests. Fitzgerald has also played in center field occasionally versus southpaws when Jung Hoo Lee is out of the lineup, though that has not been a strict platoon situation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:30 pm
  • Lifts homer in win
Yastrzemski went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Yastrzemski has hit safely in six of his last eight games, going 9-for-22 (.409) in that span. His two hitless contests in that span were games during which he entered off the bench. The outfielder remains in a strong-side platoon role this year. He's slashing .236/.311/.345 with two homers, 10 RBI, seven runs scored and no stolen bases over 62 plate appearances while sharing right field with platoon partner Austin Slater. • Notches second steal
Siani went 0-for-3 with one RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 extra-innings loss to the Mets.

Advice: Siani is hitless over his last six games (0-for-17) while drawing two walks and striking out six times in that span. For now, he's the Cardinals' starting center fielder, but he's in the lineup mostly for his defense while Dylan Carlson (shoulder) and Tommy Edman (wrist) are on the mend. Siani is slashing just .108/.233/.162 with no home runs, one RBI, nine runs scored and two stolen bases this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:10 pm
  • Steals two more bags
Young went 3-for-5 with a double, three RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases during Sunday's 12-9 victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Young's three hits were a season high and represented his third consecutive multi-hit effort while he also stole two bags for the second-consecutive game. The young center fielder is up to 10 steals on the season, good for fifth in all of baseball despite accumulating only 60 at-bats and one walk. His average now stands at .375 with four doubles, seven RBI and 14 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:27 pm
  • Launches two more dingers
Senzel went 2-for-6 with two home runs and five RBI during Sunday's 12-9 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Senzel's two home runs came in consecutive innings, with the two-run homer in the fourth cutting the lead to two, then the three-run blast in the fifth giving the Nationals a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The third baseman got off to a late start with the Nationals after fracturing his thumb prior to Opening Day but has found his groove over the last six games, as each of his five hits during that stretch have cleared the outfield fence. The power is legit for Senzel, who was never quite able to put things together during his five seasons in Cincinnati but has been thriving in his first season with Washington.
