• Another three-hit day
Rojas went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base during Sunday's 5-4 win over the Astros.

Advice: Rojas delivered his second consecutive three-hit game, falling a home run short of hitting for the cycle. On the year, Rojas is slashing .360/.442/.587 with three home runs and three steals while striking out at a 13.9 percent clip. Rotowire.com Today, 6:13 pm

  • Bryan Ramos drives in run in win over Cardinals
Bryan Ramos went 1-for-3 and drove in a run as the White Sox topped the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

Advice: The 22-year-old infielder picked up his first career RBI on a sacrifice fly in the second inning. He also notched his first career hit with a single in the seventh inning and came around to score on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Robbie Grossman. He’s unlikely to provide much of an impact from a fantasy perspective in a part-time role for the White Sox. Rotoworld Today, 2:17 pm

  • Eguy Rosario sent back to Triple-A by Padres
Padres optioned INF Eguy Rosario to Triple-A El Paso.

Advice: Rosario hasn’t seen much playing time, and the infielder will head to Triple-A to likely see more consistent at-bats. Donovan Solano is up to take Rosario’s place on the roster. Rotoworld Today, 12:41 pm

  • Sent to Triple-A
Rosario was optioned to Triple-A El Paso on Sunday.

Advice: Rosario hadn't made a start since April 29 and will now head down to the minors. The Padres selected the contract of Donovan Solano from El Paso in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Today, 12:38 pm

  • Exiting starting nine Sunday
Davis is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Following a stint on the 10-day injured list due to an adductor strain, Davis was activated Friday and had started at first base in both of his first two games back in action, going 2-for-7 with a run scored between those contests. The Athletics haven't indicated that Davis suffered a setback in his recovery from the injury, so his absence Sunday is presumably a pre-planned maintenance day. Rotowire.com Today, 12:01 pm

  • Emerging as primary DH
Wisdom will serve as the Cubs' designated hitter and No. 7 batter in Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Wisdom is starting at DH for the third time in four games, and he looks like the role will be his for the taking for the time being after the Cubs optioned Matt Mervis to Triple-A Iowa on Saturday. He should have an opportunity to see steady playing time until the Cubs get at least one of Seiya Suzuki (oblique) or Cody Bellinger (ribs) back from the injured list. Rotowire.com Today, 11:32 am

  • Getting trial in everyday role
Dunn will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Over his final 13 games of April, Dunn had gone just 3-for-25 with 12 strikeouts and had seemingly removed himself from consideration for the everyday role at third base, which Joey Ortiz had claimed a firm grasp of due to his much stronger start to the season. However, the Brewers aren't yet willing to pull the plug on Dunn, as manager Pat Murphy told Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Dunn would get an extended look this weekend to prove that he's worthy of sticking around with the big club rather than getting optioned to Triple-A Nashville. For his part, Dunn has done well to convince the Brewers he deserves to remain up in the majors, as he's gone 4-for-9 with a triple, a walk, three runs and an RBI over the previous three contests. Murphy said that the starting third base job still belongs to Ortiz, but Dunn will get his fourth straight nod Sunday and might have made a case to see more consistent playing time as a utility option. • Sits in fourth straight
Ortiz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Advice: Ortiz finds himself on the bench for the fourth game in a row, a surprising development considering that he's maintaining an excellent .388 on-base percentage and .827 OPS through 80 plate appearances on the season. According to Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Ortiz's benching isn't disciplinary in nature or due to any dissatisfaction of his performance. Instead, manager Pat Murphy expressed a desire to take a longer look at rookie Oliver Dunn, who hadn't gotten to play much over the past few weeks once Ortiz emerged as the superior option at third base. Dunn will start his fourth straight game Sunday, and Murphy said the Brewers are using the run of extended action to evaluate whether it's worthwhile to keep Dunn in a utility role with the big club or to have him play more frequently in the minors. • Gets fourth straight start
Shewmake will start at second base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Shewmake will start in his fourth straight game, with two coming at second base and two at third base. He doesn't seem to be making much of a case to move into a full-time role at any position, however, as he went 0-for-9 over his previous three starts to drop his season-long slash line down to .140/.154/.240 over his 52 plate appearances.
