• Blasts first homer
Bouchard reached base three times Sunday, going 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk against the Pirates.

Advice: Bouchard followed teammate Jacob Stallings' two-run blast with a shot of his own during a second inning that saw the Rockies jump out to an early three-run lead. It was the first homer for Bouchard, who later added a double for his first multi-hit effort of the season. Bouchard got the starting nod against Pirates lefty Bailey Falter, marking his first start in four games as he appears to be mired on the short side of a platoon in right field with Jake Cave, pending the return of Kris Bryant (back), who's currently on the injured list. • Lifts second homer
Stallings went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: Stallings put the Rockies on the board with the second inning blast against his former club. Despite serving as the second catcher in Colorado, Stallings has been effective on offense when given the opportunity with a hitting streak that's spanned the last seven games he's played since April 17. He's hit .400 over that stretch with two homers, six RBI and four runs scored, lifting his season average to .351 in the process. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago
  • Jonny DeLuca delivers game-winning triple for Rays
Jonny DeLuca went 2-for-4 with a game-winning, two-run triple in the bottom of the 10th as the Rays outlasted the Mets 7-6 on Sunday.

Advice: Harrison Bader was shaded the other way and came up just a little short on a diving attempt for DeLuca’s shot to center in the 10th. The ball that rolled all of the way to the wall, and it might have been an inside-the-park homer if the winning run wasn’t already on base. DeLuca also had an RBI single earlier in the contest. He might be limited to playing mostly against lefties once the Rays get Josh Lowe back, but as is, he’s started three straight games since coming off the IL and gone 3-for-11 with six RBI. • Jon Singleton hits third homer in loss to Astros
Jon Singleton went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: It sure seems like the Astros were missing out by not going from José Abreu to Singleton earlier. Joey Loperfido still might wind up as Houston’s first baseman, but Singleton has earned himself a longer look by hitting .268 with three homers in his 16 starts this year. • Two hits, swipes bag Sunday
Grossman went 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Grossman opened the game with a leadoff double off Matthew Liberatore before ripping a one-out single in the third frame, swiping second base for his second steal of the season. He also added a sacrifice fly off John King in top of the seventh inning, scoring teammate Bryan Ramos for the team's final tally of the game. Grossman has been splitting time with Gavin Sheets in the outfield, starting most often when the team faces a left-hander like Liberatore, but he has now gone 4-for-11 with three doubles, two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base over his last three contests. • Paul DeJong scores twice as White Sox beat Cards
Paul DeJong went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs scored and an RBI as the White Sox triumphed over the Cardinals 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Advice: DeJong smacked a one-out ground-rule double off of Matthew Liberatore in the second inning, took third on a wild pitch and scored on a sacrifice fly by Bryan Ramos. He then further victimized his former squad with an RBI double in the seventh inning that extended the White Sox lead to 3-1. He scored later in the inning on an RBI knock by Braden Shewmake. With his two-hit attack, DeJong is now hitting .224/.267/.412 with three long balls and seven RBI in 90 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 2:17 pm

  • Bryan Ramos drives in run in win over Cardinals
Bryan Ramos went 1-for-3 and drove in a run as the White Sox topped the Cardinals on Sunday afternoon.

Advice: The 22-year-old infielder picked up his first career RBI on a sacrifice fly in the second inning. He also notched his first career hit with a single in the seventh inning and came around to score on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Robbie Grossman. He’s unlikely to provide much of an impact from a fantasy perspective in a part-time role for the White Sox. Rotoworld Today, 2:17 pm

  • Lands on injured list
The Giants placed Murphy on the 10-day injured list with a left knee sprain Sunday, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Murphy suffered the injury during Saturday's contest and is now on the injured list after an MRI revealed a sprain. Patrick Bailey (concussion) is also unavailable, leaving Blake Sabol and Jakson Reetz, who had his contract selected from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, to handle catching duties. • Sean Bouchard homers, reaches three times in loss
Sean Bouchard finished 2-for-3 with his first homer and a walk Sunday against the Pirates.

Advice: It’s still so bizarre that the Rockies demoted Bouchard in favor of Michael Toglia this spring. Bouchard probably isn’t a long-term starter, but he’s a capable stopgap who, unless March is the only thing at all that mattered, was obviously more deserving of the spot. In 11 games since getting recalled, he’s hit .258/.378/.452. Since he’s just a part-timer — the start today was his first in four games — he’s of little interest in fantasy leagues right now.
