    Jonah Heim hit a game-tying homer in the ninth Sunday as the Rangers beat the Royals 3-2 in 10 innings.

    Advice: Heim got off to a slow start over the first 10 days, but he’s settled in nicely since, batting .296 with four homers and 16 RBI in his last 21 games. The Rangers have occasionally batted him as low as eighth and ninth, but he was in the fifth spot today against a lefty and he could hit a little higher versus righties with Wyatt Langford out.     David Robertson pitched a hitless 10th with a one-run lead for his first save Sunday against the Royals.

    Advice: Kirby Yates wound up with the win after pitching scoreless eighth and ninth innings. It’s a good reminder that even though Robertson was bypassed in favor of Yates after José Leclerc was removed from the closing gig, he’s still intriguing in mixed leagues.     Advice: Ramirez took Griffin Canning yard in the sixth inning, getting the Guardians on the board and plating Andres Gimenez. The long ball was his sixth of the campaign, a total that trails only Josh Naylor -- who also homered Sunday -- for the team lead.     Rangers’ manager Bruce Bochy told reporters after Sunday’s game that Wyatt Langford will be placed on the injured list on Monday with a hamstring strain.

    Advice: Bochy termed the injury as slightly more severe than a Grade 1 strain and noted that the 22-year-old outfielder will be facing a 3-4 week absence. It’s a tough break for fantasy managers who will need to be sure to have an alternative option in place for the next month or so while Langford recovers from the injury.     The Padres placed Musgrove on the 15-day injured list Sunday with right elbow inflammation.

    Advice: Musgrove was expected to start Tuesday against the Cubs but will now be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks. It's unclear when the injury surfaced for the right-hander, who struck out nine and allowed two runs over six innings his last time out versus the Cubs.
