    • Nearing rehab stint
Jones (back) will join Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday but will not immediately begin a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones is traveling to Albuquerque with Kris Bryant (back), but he's behind his teammate in his recovery process. He'll continue to ramp up his activity prior to appearing in games, but the Rockies hope he'll be ready to return from the 10-day injured list by late May. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 am

    • Turns in scoreless appearance
Gil (4-1) allowed three hits and two walks over six shutout innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Rays.

Advice: Gil never found himself in much trouble Sunday as he cruised to a scoreless quality start. He's gone 3-0 while giving up one run over 18.1 frames in his last three outings, dropping his season ERA to 2.51. Prior to these three straight quality starts, Gil hadn't completed six innings in any of his first five appearances. His next start is projected to be a strong home matchup against the White Sox. • Slams door for save
Helsley struck out two batters in a perfect inning and earned a save over Milwaukee on Sunday.

Advice: Helsley needed only 12 pitches (10 strikes) to quickly close out the 4-3 victory. Since blowing a save in his season debut, he's converted 12 consecutive chances. During that stretch, Helsley has given up just one earned run over 18 frames, lowering his season ERA to 1.42 alongside a 21:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
    • Records ninth steal
Garcia went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Angels.

Advice: Garcia has hit safely in eight of 11 games in May, going 12-for-47 (.255) with four doubles, four RBI and five runs scored. His steal Sunday was his first of the month and his ninth of the season, and he's yet to be caught stealing. The third baseman is slashing .238/.290/.375 with four home runs, 24 RBI and 20 runs scored over 184 plate appearances. While Garcia hasn't profiled as an ideal leadoff hitter, he's done enough to keep that spot through the first quarter of the campaign in a fairly strong lineup. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:52 pm
    • Homers in victory
Tucker went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and two walks in Sunday's 9-2 win over the Tigers.

Advice: Tucker took Tigers starter Jack Flaherty deep for a two-run homer in the top of the sixth inning, giving Houston a 2-0 lead. The outfielder has now gone deep 13 times this season and five times in his last six contests. Over those six games, he's gone 5-for-20 with five home runs, seven RBI, six runs scored and a stolen base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:16 pm

    • Dealing with wrist injury
Kim was hit by a pitch on his left wrist in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Kim took a 94 mph fastball from Walker Buehler off his left wrist in the bottom of the fourth inning, ultimately exiting the contest the following frame. The infielder underwent X-rays on his arm following the contest that came back negative, according to manager Mike Shildt, which bodes well for Kim moving forward. The 28-year-old can be considered day-to-day for the time being ahead of San Diego's three-game series with the Rockies at home beginning Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:16 pm

    • Ryan Helsley perfect in earning 12th save
Ryan Helsley notched his 12th save with a perfect ninth against the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: Helsey struck out two. He’s been credited with a win or a save in 87.5% of the Cardinals’ 16 victories this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm
    • Luis Gil twirls six shutout in win over Rays
Luis Gil threw six shutout innings in a win over the Rays on Sunday, allowing three hits while striking out three.

Advice: Gil also walked two on the day and showed solid enough command, pounding the zone with his four-seam fastball over 60 percent of the time. The changeup was the only pitch that wasn’t consistently landing in the zone, but he got plenty of swings and misses with a 29 percent whiff rate on it. It wasn’t a dominant effort with a 23 percent CSW, but he didn’t allow much hard contact. His season ERA is now down to 2.51, and he has a great start against the White Sox next weekend and should be started in all league types. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:50 pm
    • Dodgers expect Ohtani (back) to return Monday
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that the team hasn’t made a decision as to whether Shohei Ohtani (back) is available off the bench for Sunday’s game against the Padres.

Advice: Roberts noted that Ohtani was able to take part in some pregame activity, but the team ultimately decided to give the 29-year-old a day off after leaving Saturday with back tightness. Most importantly, it sounds like Ohtani has a good chance to be back for Monday’s game against the Giants. Even if he was able to miss that game, it does appear the superstar has avoided a long-term injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:33 am
