• George Springer gets rare day off Saturday
George Springer is not in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Dodgers.

Advice: It’s a rare day off for Springer, who has started seven consecutive contests since April 20. The 34-year-old veteran outfielder has been in Toronto’s lineup for all but two of their contests this season. It’ll be Bo Bichette in the leadoff spot and rookie Addison Barger drawing a start in right field as the Blue Jays face Dodgers ace Tyler Glasnow at the Rogers Centre. Rotoworld 36 minutes ago
  • Sitting Saturday
Springer is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Springer has gone 7-for-28 with two doubles and a solo home run since his last day off April 19. Addison Barger will make his third major-league start in right field Saturday and bat ninth against Dodgers right-hander Tyler Glasnow. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago
  • Returns to shortstop
Seager started at shortstop and went 1-for-4 in Friday's 2-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Seager, who was removed from a game Wednesday after getting hit by a pitch on the shin, has played in both games since. He served as the DH on Thursday before returning to the field Friday. Rotowire.com Today, 7:09 am

  • Big effort in win
Busch went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Busch has been great so far in his first season with the Cubs, as he's slashing .289/.347/.554 with six home runs and 17 RBI across 24 games. The 26-year-old regularly sits against southpaws, but when a righty is on the mound, Busch looks like a strong fantasy asset at the moment. It helps him that the whole Chicago lineup is clicking during the team's 17-9 start, giving Busch plenty of chances to rack up stats. Rotowire.com Today, 6:32 am

  • Goes deep in win
Carter went 2-for-3 with a home run during Friday's 2-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carter took Graham Ashcraft deep in the second inning to tie the game at 1-1, and his fourth-inning single gave him his third multi-hit performance in his last five games. In that span, the 21-year-old outfielder is 6-for-18 with three homers and four RBI, though he has also struck out seven times. Rotowire.com Today, 6:21 am

  • Kyle Bradish strikes out six on Friday at Triple-A
Kyle Bradish (elbow) recorded six strikeouts and surrendered one run over five innings on Friday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: Bradish appears to be on the precipice of returning to Baltimore’s starting rotation after throwing 77 pitches (49 strikes) over five frames in his latest rehab outing. It’s worth noting that the fastball velocity hasn’t totally rebounded to last year’s levels, but he still managed to induce 13 swinging strikes and finished with a respectable 32 percent CSW in this one. The 27-year-old righty has made a lightning-quick recovery from an offseason UCL sprain in his right elbow and should be rostered in all fantasy formats on the heels of last year’s breakthrough campaign. • Expected back Saturday
Lowe (oblique) is expected to be activated from the injured list Saturday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Lowe has been on a rehab assignment for roughly a week, but he was with the big-league club in Chicago on Friday. He's projected to be activated Saturday to make his season debut and will almost certainly occupy a prominent spot in a struggling Rays' lineup. It will also be notable where Lowe plays defensively, as he started three games in center field during his rehab assignment. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:55 pm

  • Takes first loss
Crawford (1-1) took the loss Friday against the Cubs, allowing four runs (three earned) on 10 hits over six innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Crawford allowed a season-high 10 hits Friday, though he'd still manage to make it through six innings for a second straight quality start. It's the first time that Crawford's allowed more than one run in a start this year -- he sports an impressive 1.35 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and 34:11 K:BB across six starts (33.1 innings). He's currently in line for a home matchup with the Giants in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:10 pm

  • Craig Kimbrel walks three in blowing save
Craig Kimbrel took his second blown save after walking three and giving up two hits in one-third of an inning versus the A’s on Friday.

Advice: Incredibly, he allowed just one run during all this. His lone out came on a play at home plate, and after he exited, Keegan Akin was able to strand the bases loaded and send the game to extras. Kimbrel somehow went his first nine outings without walking a batter, but he’s issued five free passes and hit a batter in his last three appearances. This is just his second blown save and his first to cost the Orioles a game, so he’ll surely keep closing for now. However, if the wildness continues. the Orioles could give him a break and turn to Yennier Cano in the ninth. Cano got four outs for his fifth hold tonight. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:33 pm
