• Gabriel Moreno gets Sunday off vs. Mariners
Gabriel Moreno is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Mariners.

Advice: Moreno gets a day off after going 0-for-6 in the first two games of the series against Seattle. Tucker Barnhart will handle catching duties and hit seventh against Logan Gilbert and the Mariners for the series finale. Rotoworld 44 minutes ago

  • Back in action Sunday
Diaz (finger) is starting at first base and batting leadoff Sunday against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: The 32-year-old sat out Saturday after being hit by a pitch in the left pinky finger Friday, but he'll rejoin the starting nine after missing just one game. Diaz is hitting .324 in his past nine contests, though he's slugging just .378 during that stretch and has not hit a home run since Opening Day. Rotowire.com Today, 9:04 am

  • Yandy Diaz returns to lineup from hand injury
Yandy Diaz is leading off and playing first base against the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Diaz was held out of the lineup for Saturday’s contest after he plunked in the hand Friday by a 99 mph pitch from Michael Kopech. Austin Shenton will move back to the designated hitter spot with Diaz back in action for Sunday’s affair. Rotoworld Today, 8:45 am

  • Slugs homer in rout
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in a 15-3 win against the Brewers on Saturday.

Advice: Judge contributed to New York's demolition of Milwaukee on Saturday with a 417-foot, two-run blast to center field in the sixth inning. It was just the fifth homer of the year for the slugger, who is off to a slow start with a .190/.326/.390 slash line through 128 plate appearances. Judge's .200 ISO is easily on pace for his lowest mark over any full season of his big-league career. Rotowire.com Today, 7:40 am

  • Tosses seven scoreless frames
Morton allowed four hits and one walk while striking out six batters over seven scoreless innings in a no-decision against Cleveland on Saturday.

Advice: Morton and Cleveland starter Tanner Bibee both hurled seven scoreless frames in the contest, subjecting both pitchers to a no-decision despite their impressive individual efforts. Morton notched his second straight quality start, and he appears to be coming back around after allowing 10 runs over 11.1 frames across a pair of outings April 8 and April 14. The veteran right-hander continues rolling along as an effective rotation piece in his 17th MLB season -- through five starts, he's posting a 3.60 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 28:11 K:BB over 30 innings. • Trea Turner picks up three hits in win over Padres
Trea Turner went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in a victory Saturday over the Padres.

Advice: Turner scored on a pair of hits from Alec Bohm, the first being a two-run homer in the first and the next being an RBI single in the fifth. The 30-year-old has been outstanding over the first 28 games, with his slash of .345/.397/.483 a vast improvement over his scuffles to begin the 2023 campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:22 pm

  • Charlie Morton gets hard-luck no-decision vs. CLE
Charlie Morton didn’t allow a run in seven innings of work with eight strikeouts, but still didn’t qualify for a decision during his start Saturday against the Guardians.

Advice: He allowed four hits with one walk. Morton was outstanding, but unfortunately, Tanner Bibee was just as good and blanked the Atlanta lineup while both were in the game. Morton has looked much better over his last two starts, as he’s allowed just two runs — both last Saturday against the Rangers — while striking out a dozen over 13 innings of work. The 40-year-old hurler will take a 3.60 ERA into his start against the Dodgers on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:18 pm

  • Aaron Judge homers as Yanks crush Brewers
Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a blowout win Saturday over the Brewers.

Advice: Judge shellacked a two-run blast in the sixth inning for his fifth homer of the season. The 32-year-old has not enjoyed the best start to the season with a .190/.328/.390 slash, but it’s impossible to be too concerned with those numbers based on Judge’s track record. • Pete Alonso blasts eighth homer in loss to Cardinals
Pete Alonso went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 7-4 win over the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Alonso cut the Cardinals lead to two runs with a two-run blast off Sonny Gray in the fifth inning. It was the eighth homer of the season for the 29-year-old slugger. He’s slashing .252/325/.515 with 14 RBI across 114 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:36 pm
