• Another two-homer game
Soto went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Mariners.

Advice: This was Soto's second multi-homer game in the last five contests. He's gone 8-for-19 (.421) with six RBI and seven runs scored over that span. The star outfielder continues to fit right in with the Yankees, slashing .313/.409/.569 with 13 homers, 40 RBI, 37 runs scored, four stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple over his first 51 games with the team. • Juan Soto homers twice in win
Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI as the Yankees defeated the Mariners 7-3 on Wednesday.

Advice: It has been a magical first season in the Bronx for Soto who heard “MVP” chants after his second big fly. He’s been every bit as advertised for the Yankees and fantasy managers alike with a .313/.409/.978 slash line and 13 homers so far this season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:13 pm

  • Anthony Santander returns to right field
Anthony Santander is back in right field Wednesday for the first time since suffering a bruised knee last week.

Advice: Santander was used as a designated hitter in his previous three starts. He’s batting cleanup today against the Cardinals. Rotoworld Wednesday, 10:31 am

  • Goes yard twice in rout
Buxton went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The 30-year-old slugger took Patrick Corbin deep in the second and fifth innings, his first long balls in four games since coming off the IL and his first multi-homer performance of 2024. Buxton had managed only one home run in 28 games prior to knee trouble that shut him down in early May, but Tuesday's fireworks are a strong sign he's fully healthy. • Byron Buxton homers twice, Twins demolish Nats
Byron Buxton went 2-for-5 with two homers and three RBI on Tuesday, powering the Twins to a 10-0 blowout victory over the Nationals.

Advice: Buxton helped Minnesota snap a seven-game losing streak with a 10-run explosion highlighted by his 11th career multi-homer performance. The 30-year-old center fielder has undeniably gotten off to an ice-cold start at the plate this season, but he’s shown some signs of life since returning from the injured list earlier this week. He took Nationals starter Patrick Corbin deep in the second and fifth innings, respectively, to spearhead the Twins’ offensive outburst. We’re not going to draw too many conclusions from a single contest, but this certainly feels like it has the potential to be a confidence-booster for Buxton moving forward. • On bench Tuesday
Santander is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Santander has been banged up with bruised knee recently and will get a day off Tuesday after going hitless in his last 10 at-bats. Colton Cowser will bat fifth and play left field against Lance Lynn and the Cardinals. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:22 pm

  • Back at DH on Monday
Santander (knee) is batting fifth as the designated hitter Monday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Santander aggravated his bruised knee Saturday against the Mariners and was held out of the lineup Sunday, but he's been cleared to bat in the series opener at St. Louis. The 29-year-old said Sunday that running in the outfield has been a bit problematic, so he could continue to serve as Baltimore's DH for the next few days as he completes his recovery. • Drills 11th home run
Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to Kansas City.

Advice: Rooker belted a three-run shot in the ninth inning, but it wasn't enough for the Athletics to mount a late comeback. It was his first homer since May 12, though six of his 11 long balls this year have come in May. Rooker is following up his 30-homer breakout season nicely, posting a .281/.358/.578 slash line with 18 extra-base hits and 32 RBI through 151 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:51 pm

  • Brent Rooker hits three-run homer in loss
Brent Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run on Sunday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: Rooker’s homer was his 11th of the season and he scalded this one at 111.7 MPH off the bat. There’s still a lot of swing and miss in his game, but a barrel rate right around 15% and hitting third in the surging A’s lineup has turned him into one of the best run producers in the league early this season.
