    Espinal will start at third base and bat fifth in Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: Espinal saw a streak of six consecutive starts come to an end in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Arizona, and before that, he enjoyed a stretch of 11 consecutive starts. He looks as though he could fall into regular playing time once again, as the Reds placed Christian Encarnacion-Strand (wrist) on the 10-day injured list Wednesday. Jeimer Candelario will move over from his usual spot at third base to cover Encarnacion-Strand's post at first base, opening up the hot corner for Espinal. Despite seeing plenty of usage in his utility role this season, Espinal has provided the Reds with underwhelming numbers (.169 average, one home run, four stolen bases, 12 RBI and five runs) across 90 plate appearances.     Advice: We figured Triolo would prove to be a solid bat for the Pirates, but he’s come in at just .206/.293/.250 to date. Last year, he had 12 extra-base hits in 181 at-bats as a rookie. Moore has already tied a career high with his pair of three-baggers, and with four doubles, he's just under halfway to his 2023 total of nine in that department. The 31-year-old came into Tuesday with a .143 average and 32.3 percent strikeout rate over the prior 10 games, making his first multi-hit effort since April 24 a particularly welcome sight.     Drury was removed from Wednesday's game against the Pirates after six innings due to left hamstring tightness. He went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run and one RBI prior to departing.

    Advice: Drury previously contended with the same injury back in mid-April. He missed a few games with the hamstring injury at the time, and he may not have fully healed up from the injury.
