    Advice: Azocar made his 10th start of the season Tuesday, filling in for Jackson Merrill in center field, and received four at-bats for the first time since April 25. He delivered a pair of hits off Shota Imanaga for his second multi-hit game of the campaign.     Profar went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs.

    Advice: Profar was the only source of offense for the Padres, providing a two-run homer in the top of the eighth to put San Diego ahead 2-1. However, the Cubs scored a run in the eighth and ninth to erase Profar's long ball and steal the win.     Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and five total RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

    Advice: Carroll looked back at home in the leadoff spot Tuesday -- after driving in two runs earlier in the game, the 23-year-old outfielder broke the game open with a three-run homer off the left-handed Justin Wilson in the seventh, his second long ball of the year and first since April 9, extending Arizona's lead to 5-0. After a brutal start to the season, it looks like Carroll may be starting to turn things around at the plate -- he now has at least one hit in six of his last seven contests, going 8-for-27 in that span.     LaMonte Wade Jr. reached base four times Tuesday, finishing 1-for-2 with two RBI and three walks versus the Rockies.

    Advice: The underrated Wade is batting .351 with a ridiculous .485 OBP, yet as a platoon player with one homer, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and one steal, he still hasn’t been all that valuable for fantasy purposes, and it’s not like he’ll keep hitting .351 forever.     Alec Burleson went 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Mets.

  • Mitch Haniger hits fifth homer of season in win
    Mitch Haniger went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the Mariners’ win over the Twins on Tuesday.

    Advice: Haniger’s solo blast in the second inning put the Mariners on the board first, and has now hit safely in three-straight games. He would later hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to give the Mariners an 8-6 lead in a game that went back-and-forth throughout the night. The veteran right fielder has struggled to get on base this season and is now slashing .215/.273/.372 on the year. While he remains good for the occasional homer, batting in an offense that ranks near the bottom of the league in runs scored doesn’t give him much upside at this time.     Jurickson Profar went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

    Advice: Profar blasted a two-run homer off of Shota Imanaga in the eighth inning to give the Padres a 2-1 lead after being stifled by Imanaga through the first seven frames.   • Alex Verdugo drives in four in win over Astros
    Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI in a 10-3 win over the Astros on Tuesday.

    Advice: The home run was Verdugo’s fifth on the season and he now has 17 RBI. The big fly wasn’t a Yankee Stadium blast either, with Verdugo hitting it 383 feet at 107.4 mph off the bat. While many expected a power boost for Verdugo moving to Yankee Stadium, he has just a 3.8 percent barrel rate and his lowest fly ball rate since 2021. His HR/FB rate is up, so Verdugo could easily surpass his 13 home runs from last year, but he’s unlikely to see a major surge. Still, his walk rate is the highest it’s ever been and he’s slashing .275/.362/.450 on the season, which will give him fantasy value if he keeps hitting cleanup behind Juan Soto and Aaron Judge.
