• Homers in blowout loss
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run min Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: De La Cruz got a hold of one against Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the sixth, but the game was already well out of reach. De La Cruz has been producing well as of late, tallying nine hits, six RBI and eight runs over his last eight games. He's been one of the Marlins' most productive hitters all year thus far, slashing .263/.311/.454 with seven homers, 20 RBI, 21 runs and an 11:41 BB:K in 164 plate appearances. • Goes yard in Tuesday's loss
Donovan went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-5 loss to the Mets.

Advice: A day after being taken out of the leadoff spot, Donovan led off Tuesday's game with a solo home run off Jose Butto for his fourth homer of the year and second career leadoff blast. He now has at least a hit in four straight games with three of those hits going for extra bases. The 27-year-old owns a .223 batting average though that comes with an unlucky .233 BABIP. For the year, Donovan is slashing .223/.297/.381 with 13 extra-base hits, 19 RBI, 15 runs and an 11:22 BB:K in 158 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 4:12 am

  • Homers as part of three-hit night
Burleson went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Burleson cranked his third home run of the year in the sixth inning off Cole Sulser and also drove in a run on a base hit in the first. He notched his first three-hit effort of the campaign and his fifth multi-hit performance. The 25-year-old is slashing .262/.303/.393 with 12 RBI, five runs and a 5:18 BB:K in 89 plate appearances and is firmly in a platoon against right-handed pitching. Rotowire.com Today, 4:04 am

  • Homers in Tuesday's loss
Nootbaar went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, three walks and two runs scored in Tuesday's loss to the Mets.

Advice: Nootbaar supplied a late home run in the ninth off Adam Ottavino to bring the Cardinals within two runs. It was his first long ball since his season debut April 12. His eye at the plate was magnificent, as he drew three walks for the first time since Sept. 15 and had walked just twice since April 20 entering Tuesday's game. The 26-year-old has yet to find a groove at the dish thus far, slashing only .183/.295/.329 with eight extra-base hits, eight RBI, seven runs and a 13:17 BB:K in 96 plate appearances. • Hits homer, sac fly
Haniger went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBi during Tuesday's 10-6 win over Minnesota.

Advice: Haniger got the Mariners on the board in the second inning, tagging Bailey Ober for a long ball to lead off the frame. The homer could be what Haniger needs to break the slump he's currently in, batting 7-for-56 (.125) with a 35.6 percent K rate since April 20. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:51 pm

  • Chips in during start
Azocar went 2-for-4 with no counting stats during Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Azocar made his 10th start of the season Tuesday, filling in for Jackson Merrill in center field, and received four at-bats for the first time since April 25. He delivered a pair of hits off Shota Imanaga for his second multi-hit game of the campaign. Despite operating in a reserve role for the Padres, Azocar is slashing .318/.362/.341 in 48 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:21 pm

  • Homer, five RBI in victory
Carroll went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and five total RBI in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

Advice: Carroll looked back at home in the leadoff spot Tuesday -- a season-opening slump had lowered him to the bottom third of the order the last two weeks. After driving in two runs early in the game, the 23-year-old outfielder broke the game open with a three-run homer off the left-handed Justin Wilson in the seventh inning, his second long ball of the year and first since April 9, extending Arizona's lead to 5-0. After a brutal start to the season, it looks like Carroll may be starting to turn things around at the plate -- he now has at least one hit in six of his last seven contests, going 8-for-27 in that span. He's still slashing an uninspiring .211/.300/.278 through 34 games with 15 runs scored, 12 RBI and eight stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm

  • LaMonte Wade Jr. gets on base four times in win
LaMonte Wade Jr. reached base four times Tuesday, finishing 1-for-2 with two RBI and three walks versus the Rockies.

Advice: The underrated Wade is batting .351 with a ridiculous .485 OBP, yet as a platoon player with one homer, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and one steal, he still hasn’t been all that valuable for fantasy purposes, and it’s not like he’ll keep hitting .351 forever. At least he should remain plenty useful to the Giants all year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:41 pm

  • Alec Burleson homers, collects three hits in loss
Alec Burleson went 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Mets.

Advice: The homer was Burleson’s second of the year, with both coming against the Mets. This was his 10th straight start against a right-handed pitcher. He hasn’t started against a lefty since April 6th and is firmly in a platoon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:19 pm
