    • Wenceel Pérez collects three hits in Tigers’ win
Wenceel Pérez finished 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Sunday as the Tigers topped the Red Sox 8-4 in 10 innings.

Advice: The second run came as the automatic runner in the 10th. Each time it’s looked like Pérez’s hot start to his big-league career might be coming to a conclusion, he bounces back with something like this. The 24-year-old had gone 6-for-40 with one RBI in his previous 10 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm

    • Trevor Larnach hits sixth homer versus Astros
Trevor Larnach hit a leadoff homer and walked Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Larnach’s two balls in play today were hit 106.9 mph and 105.6 mph, with the latter being a lineout to center. It was an important day for him, as the Twins are going to have drop someone to make room for Royce Lewis on Tuesday and it’s not at all likely to be one of their veteran bench players. Larnach and Jose Miranda have made stronger cases for sticking around than Edouard Julien and Alex Kirilloff. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:21 pm
    • Will Brennan goes 2-for-3 in loss
Will Brennan went 2-for-3 on Sunday in a loss to the Nationals. He also walked and scored a run.

Advice: While unspectacular, Brennan has found himself in the Guardians’ lineup nearly every game this season. He’s already matched his home run total from 2023 with five, but doesn’t offer much to fantasy managers besides consistent at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:10 pm

    • Heading to bench Sunday
Bouchard is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Though he's on the bench for the second time in the series, Bouchard has been deployed as the Rockies' primary option in left field following Jordan Beck's (hand) placement on the injured list last Sunday. After getting called up from Triple-A Albuquerque the same day Beck was deactivated, Bouchard started in five of the ensuing six games, going 2-for-14 with a double, three walks, four runs, three RBI and two stolen bases. Hunter Goodman will spell Bouchard in left field Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:54 pm

    • Starting, but playing time falling
Goodman will start in left field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Goodman concluded last weekend's series versus the Phillies by making his sixth start in eight games, but his playing time has fallen off over the past week. Before drawing back into the lineup Sunday, Goodman started just once in the Rockies' preceding five games. With Kris Bryant settling in primarily at designated hitter and Sean Bouchard and Charlie Blackmon typically serving as Colorado's starters in the corner outfield, Goodman has found himself as the odd man out of late. • Heading back to bench Sunday
Haniger is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Haniger will take a seat for the series finale after he had started each of the last seven games in right field or at designated hitter while going 6-for-24 with one extra-base hit (a double) and two walks. Despite the recent uptick in playing time, Haniger still looks to be behind lefty hitters Dominic Canzone and Luke Raley for reps in the corner outfield when the Mariners face right-handed pitching, though Haniger should be a mainstay in the lineup against southpaws. • Taking seat versus southpaw
Yastrzemski is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Yastrzemski has a .569 OPS in 34 at-bats over his past 10 games and will sit Sunday as lefty Nestor Cortes takes the ball for the Yankees. Luis Matos will shift to right field while Tyler Fitzgerald receives a start in center. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:21 pm
    • Moving into reserve role
Cabrera is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Since DJ LeMahieu returned from the injured list Tuesday to make his season debut, Cabrera has unsurprisingly been the odd man out of the New York lineup more often than not. He's made just two starts in the six games since LeMahieu's return and appears set to fill a utility role moving forward after holding down the fort at third base for much of the past two months. • Sitting versus southpaw
Heyward is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Advice: Heyward went 1-for-6 with a double and an RBI in the first two games of the series and will take a seat Sunday as lefty Austin Gomber pitches for Colorado. Miguel Vargas will enter the lineup in left field, pushing Teoscar Hernandez to right. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:08 pm
