    • Two hits, two RBI in win
Stephenson went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Stephenson produced runs on his first two plate appearances, singling in the first inning then doubling home the eventual game-winning run in the third. Both runs were scored by Elly De La Cruz, who had stolen bases prior to Stephenson's at-bat. He has multiple hits in three straight games, going 7-for-13 with three doubles, two RBI and three runs scored. A lack of production from the middle of the order early in the season prompted Reds manager David Bell to move Stephenson up. The catcher was in the lower-third to start the season but has slotted in anywhere from third to sixth over the last 13 starts. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago
    • Swats leadoff homer
Benson went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Benson homered to lead off the game, his second long ball in three games and sixth of the season. He's batted leadoff in all three contests, taking the spot normally reserved for TJ Friedl (thumb, IL), and hit safely in all three. It's been a rough start to the season for Benson, who's hitting .196/.290/.406 while striking out an alarming 40.1 percent of the time. Rotowire.com 23 minutes ago

    • Makes third straight start
Capel started in left field and went 1-for-2 in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Capel made a third consecutive start -- all against right-handers -- and was eventually pinch hit for against a lefty reliever, the second time a teammate has pinch hit for him when a lefty reliever entered the game. Capel is 2-for-8 with a stolen base and a run scored over five appearances since having his contract selected May 7. His opportunities have increased due to injuries to TJ Friedl (thumb, IL), Christian Encarnacion-Strand (wrist, IL) and Jonathan India (migraine, day-to-day). Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

    • Crushes first homer
Loperfido went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Thursday's win over the Athletics while also drawing a walk.

Advice: Loperfido jumped on a changeup from Joey Estes with two outs in the bottom of the third and sent it over the wall in right field for his first big-league home run, capping off a six-run inning for Houston. The rookie outfielder has gotten off to a fantastic start and has now hit safely in five straight games. Over that stretch he's batting .388 (7-for-18) with three RBI and three runs scored. • Clubs two-run homer
Olivares went 2-for-4 in Thursday's win over the Cubs with a double, a two-run homer and two runs scored.

Advice: Olivares put the Pirates on the board with a two-run blast off Justin Steele in the top of the first and later added a double in the sixth before coming around to score on a sacrifice fly from Yasmani Grandal. The home run was Olivares' fifth of the season and he's now hit safely in three straight games. It also marked only his second time this season in which he scored two runs in a contest. • Will Benson crushes leadoff homer in Reds’ win
Will Benson walloped a leadoff homer on Thursday in the Reds’ win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Benson has homered in two of the last three contests out of Cincinnati’s leadoff spot. He’s shown glimpses of immense five-category fantasy potential, but the plate skills simply haven’t improved to the point that he can really put it all together and make the leap to superstardom. He’s struck out in 39.5 percent of his 162 plate appearances through 42 contests, which has contributed greatly to a lackluster .196/.290/.406 triple-slash line. He’s up to six homers and eight steals already, which puts him on pace to set new career-high marks in both categories. However, the plate skills need to improve if he’s going to make a massive impact in shallow mixed leagues down the road. Rotoworld Today, 3:02 am

    • Slow start to season continues
Margot started in center field and went 0-for-3 in Thursday's loss to the Yankees. He's hitting just .169 with a .460 OPS this season.

Advice: The Twins traded for Margot in the offseason thinking he'd be insurance in center field if Bryon Buxton was injured and could find a right-handed platoon role. However, he's struggled to provide any offense and made just his second start this month in center field despite Buxton missing the last two weeks with a knee injury. Margot may continue to languish on the bench until he gets going at the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:37 pm

    • Gelof knocks in run Thursday
Zack Gelof went 1-for-3 with an RBI against the Astros on Thursday.

Advice: It was a quiet night for the Oakland offense. Gelof recorded his first hit and RBI in his third game since returning from the IL. He needs to regain his power stroke if he’s even going to approach the impact fantasy managers expected from him before the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:25 pm
    • Loperfido hits first big league home run
Joey Loperfido went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run, and two RBI against the Athletics on Thursday.

Advice: The home run was the first of Loperfido’s major league career. He’s now up to a .324/.378/.441 line in 37 plate appearances. He should continue to see regular playing time against right-handed pitching while Chas McCormick is on the IL. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:18 pm
