Jeffers’ homer gives Twins lone run vs. Yankees
Ryan Jeffers went 1-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees.
Advice: Carlos Rodón’s second pitch of the evening was sent 429 feet into the left field stands by Jeffers, who got the scoring started with a leadoff homer. It was Jeffers’ 10th home run of the season, as he’s well on pace to top his previous career high of 14 before the all-star break. Jeffers is now slashing .278/.308/.806 in the month of May with five homers and 13 RBI.
