    • Dominates Marlins over eight frames
Yamamoto improved to 4-1 in Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Marlins, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out five over eight innings.

Advice: Yamamoto gave up a first pitch home run to Jazz Chisholm to open up the game and his only other blemish on the night came from another solo home run by Bryan De La Cruz in the sixth. He was incredibly efficient, needing 97 pitches to navigate through eight innings. It was his first time pitching past six inning as a MLB player and he's now won four straight decisions since suffering a loss in his debut March 21 versus the Padres in the Seoul Series. Removing the shaky outing in Korea, Yamamoto owns a 1.76 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 45:7 K:BB in 41 innings this season. He'll look to keep rolling next week in a projected road matchup against the Giants. • Pops homer in win
Marte went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Cincinnati.

Advice: Marte clubbed the second of back-to-back home runs in a four-run seventh inning that put the game out of reach. It was the second straight game with a home run for Marte, who extended a hitting streak to eight games. His seven long balls are tied for the team lead with Christian Walker. • Settles in after shaky start
Lugo didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Milwaukee, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk over 6.2 innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Lugo gave up a hit and a walk in the first frame, then followed the inning up with back-to-back homers to start the second. After that, however, Lugo retired nine straight batters and kept the Brewers off the scoreboard until the seventh inning. He was seemingly set up for his sixth win of the season with the Royals up 5-3 heading into the ninth, but Willy Adames took Lugo out of contention for the W with a go-ahead three-run home run. Lugo has pitched at least six innings in seven of his eight starts and has gone into the seventh five times. He's scheduled to make his next start Sunday against the Angels. • Goes yard at Wrigley Field
Profar went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Profar was the only source of offense for the Padres, providing a two-run homer in the top of the eighth to put San Diego ahead 2-1. However, the Cubs scored a run in the eighth and ninth to erase Profar's long ball and steal the win. At the age of 31, Profar has enjoyed a breakout season, boasting a .958 OPS and a 179 WRC+ through 150 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:16 pm

    • Seth Lugo turns in quality start in no-decision
Seth Lugo yielded three runs in 6 2/3 innings Tuesday in a no-decision against the Brewers.

Advice: Lugo got just five missed swings tonight, but he wound up with five strikeouts anyway. Back-to-back homers from Rhys Hoskins and Joey Ortiz in the second inning accounted for most of the damage. Lugo will get the Angels on the road next time out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:48 pm

    • Profar’s two-run homer not enough in loss to Cubs
Jurickson Profar went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Profar blasted a two-run homer off of Shota Imanaga in the eighth inning to give the Padres a 2-1 lead after being stifled by Imanaga through the first seven frames. The veteran left field continues to stay hot at the plate, as he’s now 10-for-23 in the month of May with two homers and eight RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:26 pm

    • Iglesias earns ninth save in win over Red Sox
Raisel Iglesias earned his ninth save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Iglesias retired all three batters he faced to earn his ninth save of the season and help snap the Braves’ three-game skid. It was a much-needed win over a beatable team after the Braves dropped all three games on the road against the Dodgers, as Iglesias is now 9-for-11 in save opportunities on the season. • Rutschman extends hit streak to five in loss
Adley Rutschman went 1-for-4 in the Orioles’ 3-0 loss to the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Offense was hard to come by for the Orioles in this one, as Rutschman’s hit was one of just three the Birds recorded on the evening. The real story of the night was the Nationals pitching, as starter Trevor Williams struck out eight batters over five innings while the bullpen notched four more K’s. Rutschman has now hit safely in five straight games and is 8-for-25 at the plate in the month of May. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:20 pm

    • Ramirez has three-hit game in loss Tuesday
Jose Ramirez went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in the loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: Ramirez increased his average to .245 on the season. His .231 BABIP is well below his career .280 BABIP. Despite the low average so far for the career .278 hitter, Ramirez has still managed 24 runs, seven home runs and 30 RBI in 35 games this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:15 pm
