• Ty France stays hot with homer Saturday vs. D-backs
Ty France launched a two-run homer on Saturday, powering the Mariners to a 3-1 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: France’s two-run shot off Arizona righty Bryce Jarvis was more than enough offense for George Kirby and relievers Ryne Stanek and Andrés Muñoz, who allowed just one run on three hits combined in a low-scoring affair at T-Mobile Park. The 29-year-old slugger has gone deep twice in his las three games after going 21 consecutive contests without a round-tripper to open the season. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago

  • Carlos Santana homers in second straight contest
Carlos Santana homered and collected four RBI on Saturday, leading the Twins to a 16-5 blowout victory over the Angels.

Advice: Santana’s 408-foot moonshot off Angels lefty José Cisnero gave Minnesota a commanding five-run lead at the time and sparked an eventual blowout. The 38-year-old on-base machine has homered in back-to-back games, but is still scuffling early on in his Twins debut, batting just .188 (15-for-83) with three homers and 10 RBI through 23 contests. He’s still playing regularly at first base, but is no longer really making an impact for fantasy purposes at this stage of his career. Rotoworld Today, 4:22 am
  • Adds another steal
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with one RBI, a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings win over Atlanta.

Advice: Ramirez didn't run much early in the campaign, but he's gotten back to it with all four of his steals this year coming over the last eight games. He's gone 9-for-32 (.281) in that span while adding nine RBI and four extra-base hits. Overall, the star third baseman is doing fine with a .259/.276/.455 slash line, five home runs, 24 RBI and 19 runs scored over 116 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 12:05 am
  • Could play in Vegas on Sunday
Davis (thigh/groin) joined Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday to partake in baseball activities and is expected to serve as the designated hitter for the Aviators on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Davis has been sidelined since sustaining his injury April 14, but he'd been ramping up physical activity in recent days. Manager Mark Kotsay said Saturday the plan is for Davis to rejoin the Athletics on Monday, at which point it will be determined whether he'll need to play in more rehab games or if he's ready to be activated from the injured list. • Swats late homer
Rosario went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Rosario's eighth-inning solo shot didn't have much of an impact on the final outcome, but it did end Ranger Suarez's scoreless streak at 32.2 innings. The blast also snapped a 15-game homerless stretch for Rosario, though he often came on as a pinch hitter and thus had just 25 at-bats during that stretch. The 24-year-old had been seeing his playing time trend up of late, but that could be impacted by Manny Machado's return to playing third base Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:39 pm
  • Knocks in four runs Saturday
Bohm went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two additional RBI in a 5-1 win against the Padres on Saturday.

Advice: Bohm got Philadelphia off to a quick start with a two-run homer off Dylan Cease in the first inning. The team didn't score again until the fifth frame, and Bohm added two more RBI in that inning on a two-out single. The third baseman has been arguably the league's hottest hitter of late -- he's on an 11-game hitting streak during which he's gone 22-for-43 (.512 average) with three homers, 16 RBI, 10 runs and a 4:5 BB:K. • Productive from bottom of order
Raley went 2-for-3 with an RBI single and a stolen base in a win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: Hitting eighth and playing left field, Raley drew his fourth start in five games Saturday night and delivered in the low-scoring victory, driving the Mariners' first run of the game in the fifth inning with a timely knock. Raley also swiped his first base of the season, and he was able to get his average back over the Mendoza line (.204) with what was his second multi-hit effort in the last five games. • Knocks second homer Saturday
France went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Advice: France gave the Mariners some valuable breathing room in the seventh, extending a one-run lead via a 410-foot shot to left center with Jorge Polanco aboard. It was the second homer in three games for France, who previously hadn't left the yard over his first 21 games of the campaign. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:22 pm

  • MRI shows inflammation in knee
Sano said Saturday that he's day-to-day after an MRI revealed inflammation in his left knee, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It sounds like Sano avoided a major setback with his surgically repaired left knee. He exited games Wednesday and Friday due to soreness, and Angels manager Ron Washington told Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register that the left knee had contributed to Sano's recent struggles at the plate. While Sano says he's day-to-day, it would not be a surprise if he sat Sunday, and an IL stint can't be completely ruled out. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:10 pm
