    Ty France launched a two-run homer on Saturday, powering the Mariners to a 3-1 victory over the Diamondbacks.

    Advice: France’s two-run shot off Arizona righty Bryce Jarvis was more than enough offense for George Kirby and relievers Ryne Stanek and Andrés Muñoz, who allowed just one run on three hits combined in a low-scoring affair at T-Mobile Park.     Carlos Santana homered and collected four RBI on Saturday, leading the Twins to a 16-5 blowout victory over the Angels.

    Advice: Santana’s 408-foot moonshot off Angels lefty José Cisnero gave Minnesota a commanding five-run lead at the time and sparked an eventual blowout. The 38-year-old on-base machine has homered in back-to-back games, but is still scuffling early on in his Twins debut, batting just .188 (15-for-83) with three homers and 10 RBI through 23 contests.     Ramirez went 1-for-4 with one RBI, a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 4-2 extra-innings win over Atlanta.

    Advice: Ramirez didn't run much early in the campaign, but he's gotten back to it with all four of his steals this year coming over the last eight games. He's gone 9-for-32 (.281) in that span while adding nine RBI and four extra-base hits.     Davis (thigh/groin) joined Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday to partake in baseball activities and is expected to serve as the designated hitter for the Aviators on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Davis has been sidelined since sustaining his injury April 14, but he'd been ramping up physical activity in recent days. Manager Mark Kotsay said Saturday the plan is for Davis to rejoin the Athletics on Monday, at which point it will be determined whether he'll need to play in more rehab games or if he's ready to be activated from the injured list.     Advice: Rosario's eighth-inning solo shot didn't have much of an impact on the final outcome, but it did end Ranger Suarez's scoreless streak at 32.2 innings. The blast also snapped a 15-game homerless stretch for Rosario, though he often came on as a pinch hitter and thus had just 25 at-bats during that stretch. The team didn't score again until the fifth frame, and Bohm added two more RBI in that inning on a two-out single. The third baseman has been arguably the league's hottest hitter of late -- he's on an 11-game hitting streak during which he's gone 22-for-43 (.512 average) with three homers, 16 RBI, 10 runs and a 4:5 BB:K.     Advice: It sounds like Sano avoided a major setback with his surgically repaired left knee. He exited games Wednesday and Friday due to soreness, and Angels manager Ron Washington told Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register that the left knee had contributed to Sano's recent struggles at the plate.
