Santander is absent from the lineup for Monday's tilt against the Red Sox.

Advice: Santander has homered twice in his last four contests, but he's also done a lot of swinging and missing of late with 10 strikeouts across his past 25 plate appearances. Kyle Stowers is getting a start in right field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:48 am

    • Brandon Marsh has two hits in loss
Brandon Marsh went 2-for-2 with a walk and a caught stealing in a loss to the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Marsh has cooled down from his strong start to the season, coming into the game hitting just .222 in 18 games in Marsh with no home runs after belting six in his first 28 games. It seems that Marsh changed his pull-heavy approach from April which led to a high strikeout rate but strong power numbers. Marsh is now striking out less but also pulling the ball less and slugging .259 in May compared to .505 in April. His early-season power was never going to continue, but his new approach makes him less interesting in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:32 pm

    • Hits go-ahead blast
Santander went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 5-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Santander put the Orioles ahead with the second of their three homers in the eighth inning. He's gone 3-for-15 with two homers and four RBI over his last four contests. The outfielder is up to a .205/.284/.432 slash line with nine long balls, 29 RBI, 25 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases through 197 plate appearances. Santander started three of the last four games in right field before resting his legs as the designated hitter Saturday, so it looks like he's moved past the bruised knee that bothered him earlier in the week. • Targeting return Tuesday
O'Neill (knee), who is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers, is expected to remain on the bench for Monday's series opener in Baltimore before returning to the starting nine for Tuesday's game versus the Orioles, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: The Red Sox don't view O'Neill's sore right knee as a major concern and think he'll need to miss just two starts due to the issue before returning to the starting nine as either a designated hitter or corner outfielder. Garrett Cooper will enter the lineup in O'Neill's stead Sunday, occupying the DH spot and batting third. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:06 am

    • Tyler O’Neill (knee) remains out Sunday
Tyler O’Neill (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Brewers.

Advice: O’Neill left Saturday’s contest with the Brewers with soreness in his right knee. The 28-year-old will miss at least one full game with Garrett Cooper hitting third as the starting designated hitter. O’Neill should be considered day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Sunday, 6:59 am

    • Not playing Sunday
O'Neill (knee) won't be available for Sunday's game against the Brewers, Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: O'Neill was removed from Saturday's 6-3 loss after seven innings with soreness in his right knee. He admitted to grinding through the injury; the outfielder is 11-for-73 with 36 strikeouts over the last 20 games. The Red Sox are hopeful that a day off will be all that O'Neill needs to recover from the injury before the team opens up a three-game set in Baltimore on Monday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:05 am

    • Day-to-day with knee injury
O'Neill is receiving treatment for the right knee injury that forced him from Saturday's game versus the Brewers and is considered day-to-day, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Advice: O'Neill revealed that the knee has actually been bothering him for a while, and the injury didn't happen on a particular play Saturday. He conceded that it's probably affected his swing, and his nine strikeouts over his last three contests would seem to back up that assessment. O'Neill may sit out at least Sunday's game, but there's no talk just yet of him needing an injured list stint. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:26 pm

    • Tyler O’Neill leaves game with sore right knee
Tyler O’Neill was removed from Saturday afternoon’s skirmish against the Brewers in the eighth inning due to soreness in his right knee.

Advice: The 28-year-old slugger has gone hitless this week with a massive pile of strikeouts, though it’s unclear if the knee issue is related at all. O’Neill admitted after the game that it has been bothering him for a while and is probably impacting his swing, though he can’t point to a particular play or instance in which the injury occurred. Both O’Neill and manager Alex Cora called it a day-to-day type of injury. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:02 pm

    • Anthony Santander launches two-run homer in win
Anthony Santander went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk to put the Orioles ahead in Saturday’s 5-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: After drawing a walk to lead off the seventh inning, Santander took Michael Kopech deep for a two-run blast in the eighth to give the Orioles a one-run lead. It was his second homer in three games. Though, he’s collected only three hits in his last seven. The 29-year-old slugger is hitting .205/.284/.432 with nine homers and 29 RBI across 197 plate appearances. Rotoworld Saturday, 2:27 pm
