    • Clase picks up 16th save Saturday
Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up his 16th save of the season against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Clase allowed one hit and struck out two batters. He lowered his ERA to 0.34 with another scoreless appearance. Clase continues to show he’s one of the league’s elite closers. Rotoworld Saturday, 9:34 pm
    • Picks up win No. 6 Saturday
Keller (6-3) picked up the victory Saturday against Atlanta, allowing just one run on six hits over 6.2 innings. He registered four strikeouts.

Advice: Keller was efficient, needing only 88 pitches to complete his 6.2 frames. Although the right-hander struck out just four, he had a solid 15 whiffs on his 88 offerings. Keller entered May with a 5.18 ERA and no wins in his last three starts. In four outings this month, he's 4-0 with a 1.30 ERA, although the strikeouts haven't been there with only 19 in 33.1 innings. Keller's next outing is projected to come in Toronto. Rotowire.com Saturday, 6:05 pm

    • Goes five innings versus Rays
Singer allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings in a no-decision versus the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: The Royals jumped out to a 2-0 lead after three innings, but Singer gave it back before his exit. The right-hander threw 57 of 90 pitches for strikes in a decent outing. He's been sharp this season, allowing one earned run or zero in eight of his 11 starts en route to a 2.63 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 64:19 K:BB through 61.2 innings. Singer's next start is projected to be at Minnesota. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:27 pm

    • Mitch Keller holds Atlanta to one run over 6 1/3
Mitch Keller gave up just one run over 6 1/3 innings in a win over Atlanta on Saturday.

Advice: Keller, 28, scattered six hits with four strikeouts against no free passes. The right-hander allowed an RBI single to Jarred Kelenic, but that was it in terms of scoring plays while he was on the bump. Keller has been excellent in May while allowing just four runs over his four starts, and he’s scheduled to begin June with an outing against the Blue Jays next Saturday. • Singer allows one earned in no-decision vs. Rays
Brady Singer accumulated five innings while allowing two runs — one earned — in a start against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Singer’s results were fine, but he had to work hard for them while throwing 90 pitches. He walked two and struck out three, with the only earned run coming on a Jonathan Aranda homer. The 27-year-old now has a 2.63 ERA and 64/19 K/BB over his 11 starts, and he’ll look to keep the good run going with a scheduled outing with the Twins on Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:29 pm

    • Melts down against Giants
Garrett (5-2) took the loss Friday against the Giants, coughing up five runs on four hits and a walk in the eighth inning.

Advice: The big blow was a grand slam by Patrick Bailey as Garrett squandered a 6-2 lead. The 31-year-old right-hander has been tagged with the loss in each of his last two appearances, and he's given up seven of his eight earned runs on the season in his last six innings, a poor stretch that has come as he's moved into the late-inning mix due to Edwin Diaz's own poor form. Garrett's stumbles have added more than two points to his ERA, but he still sports a 2.67 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 43:13 K:BB through 27 frames. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:38 am

    • MRI shows healing
Kelly (shoulder) underwent an MRI earlier this week, and it showed significant healing, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The results are encouraging, but the team will have multiple doctors review the images to be sure. Kelly was placed on the 15-day injured list April 23, two days after being scratched from a start, and then he was transferred to the 60-day IL on May 2. Rotowire.com Saturday, 4:27 am

    • Cristopher Sánchez limits Rockies to one run
Cristopher Sánchez held the Rockies to one run in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision Friday.

Advice: Sánchez’s velocity has been great in his last two starts, though it didn’t lead to strikeouts tonight (two) at Coors Field like it did last time (eight) against the Nationals. Sánchez lowered his ERA to 3.15, but he remained stuck on two wins. Rotoworld Friday, 11:49 pm
    • Corbin Burnes solid for six in downing White Sox
Corbin Burnes allowed three runs over six innings Friday in a no-decision against the White Sox.

Advice: He struck out six and walked two. This season has not seen Burnes at his absolute best, but neither has he faltered at any point; he still hasn’t allowed more than three runs or pitched fewer than five innings in any of his 11 starts. His next turn will come against the Red Sox. It’s the only team he’s completed seven innings against this year, doing so in a 7-1 victory on Apr. 9. Rotoworld Friday, 11:16 pm
