    • Homers in second straight
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Tucker took advantage of the offensive environment in Mexico City, homering in each of Houston's two contests there. He now has seven home runs on the season and has at least one hit in each of his last five starts. It comes as no surprise that Tucker has remained an excellent five-category contributor, highlighted by 39 combined RBI and runs scored as well as five stolen bases across 28 contests. • Gets aboard three times in loss
Gimenez went 2-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Gimenez went 2-for-18 with three RBI and a steal over five games from April 19-25, a cold spell that resulted in him getting a day off Friday. He's bounced back with a pair of multi-hit efforts over the weekend. The second baseman is up to four steals on five attempts this season. He's slashing .275/.345/.343 with 15 RBI, 15 runs scored, five doubles and a triple through 117 plate appearances, but he's yet to hit a home run in 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:04 pm
    • Jared Jones manages just three strikeouts in loss
Jared Jones took a loss to the Giants after allowing three runs in five innings Sunday.

Advice: Jones had struck out at least seven in all five of his starts to date, but he fanned just three today, and he seemed to tire out quickly, with his last three fastballs in the fifth coming in at 94.4, 93.3 and 93.8 mph. That’s from a guy averaging 97.4 mph on the season. The loss leaves him 2-3 in spite of a 3.18 ERA. He should bounce back in a home start versus the Rockies next weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:05 pm
    • Stumbles in San Francisco
Jones (2-3) allowed three runs on six hits and a walk over five innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Giants.

Advice: All three runs against Jones scored during a disastrous third inning. He gave up five hits in the frame, including solo homers by Thairo Estrada and Mike Yastrzemski to start things off. Jones' historic strikeout pace slowed down as he forced only seven swinging strikes in the subpar outing. As impressive as the right-handed rookie has been, he's been tagged with seven homers through his first six starts. He'll carry a 3.18 ERA into his next start, which is lined up to be at home against the Rockies. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:50 pm
    • Austin Riley has game-winning hit on Sunday
Austin Riley went 2-for-4 with a game-winning single in a win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Riley thought he had a game-winning home run off Emmanuel Clase earlier in the series only to have the ball caught at the warning track, but he left no doubt about this one with a laser of a line drive up the middle to drive in Ronald Acuna Jr., who was the ghost runner to start the 10th inning. That was Riley’s 14th RBI of the season, but the third baseman is hitting just .234/.311/.383 so far. He should find himself in a hot stretch in short order to bring that line back to his normal dominance. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:05 pm

    • Giménez has two hits, steal vs ATL
Andrés Giménez went 2-for-4 with a steal and an RBI against the Dodgers on Sunday.

Advice: Both of Giménez’s hits with singles hit 91 mph or better off the bat and upped his slash line to .275/.345/.343 on the year. That slugging percentage obviously leaves a lot to be desired, but Giménez is getting on base often at the top of the Guardians’ lineup and now has four steals on the year. He also has some of the lowest exit velocities among every day players, so if you can stomach his lack of power, he’s a good MIF target in all fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:01 pm
    • Pitches through side tightness
Hicks said he experienced a bit of side tightness during his start against the Pirates on Saturday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Hicks apparently felt the tightness following the sixth inning, though he still briefly came out for the seventh before being pulled after giving up a leadoff single. The right-hander is apparently fine, but it's still worth keeping an eye on his status heading into his next turn through the rotation, which lines up for next weekend in Philadelphia. • Receives breather Sunday
Raleigh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Raleigh started the past three days after missing one contest due to dental procedure, and he'll sit Sunday with it being a day game after a night game. Seby Zavala is starting behind the plate to catch for righty Logan Gilbert. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:34 am

    • Takes seat Sunday
Alexander is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

Advice: Alexander has gone 9-for-24 with five doubles, a homer, nine RBI and four runs over his past seven games, but he'll head to the bench Sunday. Kevin Newman will start at shortstop in the series finale at Seattle. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:21 am
