    • Allows four earned in no-decision
Suarez did not factor into the decision during Sunday's 7-6 loss to the A's, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over four innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Suarez allowed his first earned runs of the season, laboring through 83 pitches prior to being pulled with the lead after finishing four innings. Suarez had been unscored upon in his first two starts spanning 11.1 innings since being recalled from Triple-A Norfolk on April 17. Suarez's future in the Baltimore rotation is currently uncertain, as both Kyle Bradish and John Means are finishing up their respective rehab assignments and are expected to soon return to the big club. • Anthony Volpe homers, reaches four times
Anthony Volpe went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and two walks Sunday against the Brewers.

Advice: A much-improved game for Volpe, who came into the day 7-for-47 with no homers and a 16/1 K/BB ratio in his previous 11 games. The Yankees haven’t wavered on using him as a leadoff man, even though he’s mostly struggled since moving up two weeks into the season. It’s definitely best for his fantasy value if they keep him there. Rotoworld Today, 3:13 pm

    • Goes deep in win
Garcia went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: Garcia opened up the scoring in Sunday's contest, taking Andrew Abbott deep for a two-run shot with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, driving in teammate Nathaniel Lowe in the process. The long ball was his eighth of the season and third in his last six contests. The outfielder is now batting .291 with eight homers, 25 RBI, 19 runs scored and four stolen bases over 103 at-bats in 28 games this season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:51 pm

    • Albert Suárez inconsistent in no-decision
Albert Suárez allowed four runs on seven hits in four innings in a no-decision against the A’s.

Advice: Suárez struck out six and walked just one while posting a 35 percent whiff rate and 33 percent CSW, which is good news. His fastball continued to perform well with 11 whiffs on 26 swings; however, it did also give up a few loud hits, and the cutter and changeup both got hit hard at times on Sunday as well. Suárez remains more of a streamer despite the four-seam propelling him to some solid starts in his first few turns in the rotation. With John Means and Kyle Bradish nearing a return, his time in the rotation could be coming to a close, and he wouldn’t be a recommended start next week against the Yankees either. He can be dropped in most shallow formats. Rotoworld Today, 2:19 pm
    • Managing back tightness
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Kimbrel was removed from Sunday's game against the A's due upper-back tightness, though the skipper isn't sure if the injury will be an ongoing issue, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Kimbrel suffered his second straight blown save Sunday as he allowed a walk and a two-run homer to the only two batters he faced before he exited with the injury. The 35-year-old will continue to be evaluated over the next couple of days, and it remains to be seen if a trip to the injured list will be necessary. Rotowire.com Today, 1:58 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel dealing with tightness in upper back
Craig Kimbrel was removed from Sunday’s outing against the Athletics after two batters due to tightness in his upper back.

Advice: Orioles’ manager Brandon Hyde told reporters after the game that he left Kimbrel in after the first visit to the mound, because Kimbrel said that he was okay and Hyde’s preference is to “trust the player”. What remains unclear, is how much time, if any, Kimbrel will be forced to miss. Yennier Cano makes for a nice stash where available in the event that Kimbrel winds up on the injured list. • Freddie Freeman homers in loss
Freddie Freeman went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in a loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday

Advice: Freeman hit a 425-foot blast off of Kevin Gausman that left the bat at 106.3 mph. It’s just his second home run on the season to fo along with an impressive 19 RBI. Freeman is hitting .306/.425/.435 on the season and while the power may not be as prevalent as he continues to get along, the rest of his offensive profile as remained tremendous. • Departs with apparent injury
Kimbrel was removed from Sunday's game against the A's due to an apparent injury, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Advice: The veteran right-hander allowed a walk and a two-run homer to the only batters he faced before exiting the contest with an athletic trainer. It's the second straight blown save for Kimbrel after converting seven straight saves, and the specifics of his injury remain unclear. Yennier Cano is the likely favorite to fill in at closer should Kimbrel be forced to miss any time. Rotowire.com Today, 1:27 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel blows save, exits with injury Sunday
Craig Kimbrel suffered his second consecutive blown save on Sunday afternoon, then exited his outing against the Athletics with the training staff by his side.

Advice: It’s unclear exactly what occurred, but something clearly wasn’t right with the 35-year-old hurler. He issued a four-pitch walk to Darrell Hernaiz, then after a nine-pitch battle served up a go-ahead two-run homer to Kyle McCann. All 13 pitches that he threw in the ballgame were fastballs that averaged 94.9 mph — up 1.1 mph from his season average. Expect the Orioles to provide an update on his status shortly.
