    • Michael King hit hard in loss to Phillies Sunday
Michael King was hit hard in a losing effort against the Phillies on Sunday afternoon, surrendering six runs on six hits across 5 1/3 innings.

Advice: On the plus side for fantasy managers, he still did manage to punch out six batters on the afternoon while issuing three free passes. His troubles in this one stemmed from his inability to keep the ball in the yard, as Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers off of him and J.T. Realmuto added one of his own. King got 10 swings and misses on 95 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll look to get back on track as he carries a 5.00 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and a 40/21 K/BB ratio (36 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Diamondbacks in Arizona. Rotoworld 6 minutes ago

    • Michael Conforto goes 0-for-4 against Pirates
Michael Conforto finished 0-for-4 against the Pirates on Sunday, leaving him without an RBI in his last five games.

Advice: Conforto opened the season 13-for-31 with three homers, four doubles and 10 RBI in his first eight games, Since then, he’s 15-for-74 with two homers, two doubles and six RBI in 19 games. He’s been in the lineup regularly against lefties since that fast start, but that probably ought to change, given his recent results. Rotoworld 19 minutes ago
    • Quality start in loss
Littell (1-2) picked up a loss after he pitched six innings, giving up two runs on eight hits while striking out six batters in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Littell opened the game with three scoreless innings before Chicago scratched across a pair of runs in the bottom of the fourth, including an RBI single by Danny Mendick, which gave the White Sox a 2-1 lead. Littell was able to return to form and pitch two more scoreless frames before exiting after the sixth, securing his first quality start since March 30. The 28-year-old will carry a 3.27 ERA into his next projected start Saturday at home versus the Mets. Rotowire.com 23 minutes ago

    • Zack Littell solid in loss to White Sox
Zack Littell pitched six innings of two-run ball in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Littell has a 3.27 ERA and a 35/5 K/BB ratio after six starts, but he’s just 1-2 and the Rays are 2-4 in his outings. He’ll get the Mets next time out. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm

    • Christopher Morel returns to Cubs lineup on Sunday
Christopher Morel (hip, elbow) returned to the Cubs’ starting lineup on Sunday.

Advice: Morel was pulled from Saturday’s game after colliding with teammate Alexander Canario in the outfield, but aside from being a bit banged up he’s good to go. Morel is starting at the hot corner and batting cleanup against Tanner Houck and the Red Sox on Sunday night. On the season, the 24-year-old slugger is hitting .219/.296/.365 with three homers, 12 RBI and one stolen base through 26 games. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm

    • Another impressive start
Skubal (4-0) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk over seven innings against the Royals. He struck out six.

Advice: Skubal began the day by allowing a leadoff double to Maikel Garcia followed by an RBI single by Bobby Witt, but the Royals were only able to muster two harmless singles and a walk the rest of the way. Skubal entered the contest with an ERA of 5.09 and only one win in eight decisions over 11 career appearances against Kansas City but quickly settled in to post his fourth start out of six this season in which he's allowed one or fewer runs with no more than five baserunners against. Skubal, whose strong outing dropped his season-long ERA to 1.72 with a 0.74 WHIP, will look to continue his early-season dominance into his next start, tentatively slated to take place in New York with a weekend matchup against the Yankees. • Skubal stymies Royals on Sunday
Tarik Skubal allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the Royals.

Advice: Skubal struck out six and walked one while throwing 91 pitches in those seven innings. He allowed just one extra-base hit and posted an impressive 34 percent whiff rate and 35 percent CSW. Interestingly, Skubal threw just 13 combined sliders and curves today, opting instead to rely heavily on pounding the zone with his four-seam and sinker and getting a tremendous 55 percent whiff rate on his changeup. However, part of what has made Skubal so good is a deeper arsenal that now allows him to go away from certain pitches and still have dominant outings. He has a tougher matchup next week against the Yankees, but you start him everywhere. Rotoworld Today, 1:41 pm

    • Good to go Sunday
Morel (hip) is starting at third base and batting cleanup Sunday against the Red Sox.

Advice: The 24-year-old collided with Alexander Canario after making a running catch in the outfield Saturday but is apparently no worse for wear. Morel had a 1-for-32 slump over nine contests in mid-May, but his bat has come alive over his past six games with a .781 OPS. Rotowire.com Today, 1:34 pm

    • Rhys Hoskins takes seat Sunday vs. Yankees
Rhys Hoskins is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s game against the Yankees.

Advice: Hoskins homered in Saturday’s blowout loss, and his reward is a day of rest against the Yankees on Sunday. Jake Bauers is hitting cleanup and playing first base in Hoskins’ absense. Rotoworld Today, 9:03 am
