    • Nabs win Tuesday
Scott (2-4) picked up the win in Tuesday's extra-inning victory over the Tigers, giving up a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out two.

Advice: Rather than being held back for a possible save situation in extra innings on the road, Scott got the call in the ninth with the score tied 0-0 and was able to escape the jam he created. The southpaw hasn't allowed an earned run in 10 straight appearances, but Scott's been far from sharp during that time, posting an 11:7 K:BB in 9.1 innings. That's still an improvement on his early-season performance, and his 2.12 ERA on the year isn't supported by his 1.53 WHIP or 18:17 K:BB in 17 frames. Scott is still the Marlins' closer and has converted four of five save chances, but A.J. Puk got the save in the 10th inning Tuesday and could be a threat to take the job now that he's moved back into the bullpen. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

    • Moves up to leadoff spot
Westburg will start at third base and bat leadoff in Wednesday's game versus the Blue Jays.

Advice: Westburg will occupy the top spot in the batting order for the first time in his big-league career. Normal leadoff man Gunnar Henderson will shift down to the cleanup spot while Toronto brings left-hander Yusei Kikuchi. Rotowire.com Today, 8:02 am

    • Riley Greene sits, Kerry Carpenter starts vs. LHP
Riley Greene is getting a scheduled day off Wednesday, with Kerry Carpenter starting in right field against a lefty.

Advice: It’s the first time all season that Carpenter has been in the lineup against a southpaw and only the second time Greene has been rested. As great as Greene has been against righties this season, he’s hitting a mere .189/.268/.378 against southpaws, Rotoworld Today, 7:30 am

    • Getting Wednesday off
Greene is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Greene has started each of the Tigers' last 22 games and appears to be getting a breather as Detroit wraps up its series against the Marlins with a day game. Matt Vierling will pick up a start in left field in place of Greene, who hit .135/.200/.243 with 13 strikeouts over his last nine starts. Rotowire.com Today, 7:06 am

    • Launches first homer of 2024
Lowe went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder connected on his first long ball of 2024 when he took Nick Pivetta deep in the first inning. Lowe is quickly making up for lost time after missing the first month-plus of the season due to an oblique strain, and in seven games since being activated from the IL he's batting .320 (8-for-25) with four doubles and a homer. • Nails down 12th save
Clase earned the save Tuesday against Texas, allowing one walk over a scoreless inning with no strikeouts

Advice: Clase moved into a four-way tied for the second most saves in baseball with Tuesday's contest and, after leading MLB in saves the past two seasons, is firmly in the mix to do so again in 2024. The 26-year-old has yielded just one earned run and walked two batters in 21.1 innings of work. Rotowire.com Today, 12:11 am
    • Hangs on for fifth save
Megill earned the save Tuesday against the Pirates, allowing a solo home run and no walks with two strikeouts across one inning.

Advice: Megill entered the contest with two runs of cushion and managed to secure his fifth save of the campaign despite allowing a solo homer to Connor Joe with two outs in the ninth. The 30-year-old is a perfect 5-for-5 in save chances and has only allowed two runs in 10.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:43 pm
    • Andy Pages takes golden sombrero in victory
Andy Pages went 0-for-5 with four strikeouts while the rest of the Dodgers were scoring 10 runs Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: Jason Heyward has started a rehab assignment, so this is a really bad time for Pages to go cold. He seems like the more interesting of those two players at this point, but the Dodgers still might send him down if they think Heyward can make at least a modest contribution. • Josh Lowe has two hits, HR vs Red Sox
Josh Lowe went 2-for-4 with a walk and a home run in a loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: In the first inning, Lowe took Pivetta deep 385 feet on a ball that left the bat at 107 mph. It was the 26-year-old’s first home run of the season, and he’s now slashing .320/.360/.600 in seven games since coming off the IL. The Rays continue to hit him in the middle of the lineup, and he should be in for another big season if he can stay healthy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:30 pm
