    • Strong again Tuesday
Kikuchi (4-5) allowed three hits and four walks while striking out five over five shutout innings to earn the win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: Kikuchi's four walks ran up his pitch count quickly, but it was an otherwise strong performance. This was just the second time in his last 11 outings that he's walked multiple batters. The southpaw has won his last two starts and now has a 3.26 ERA on the year with a 1.23 WHIP and 76:19 K:BB through 77.1 innings over 14 starts. Kikuchi's next start is projected to be at home versus the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Today, 8:10 pm
    • Yusei Kikuchi blanks Brewers, Ks five in win
Yusei Kikuchi pitched five scoreless innings while striking out five in the Blue Jays’ 3-0 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Kikuchi also walked four batters and needed 97 pitches to get through his five frames, but he kept the Brewers off the board and has now allowed one earned run in his last 11 innings pitched. Despite a 4-5 record, Kikuchi is now sitting on a 3.26 ERA and has allowed three earned runs or fewer in all but three of his starts. He’ll look to pick up his fifth win on Monday against the Red Sox. Rotoworld Today, 8:01 pm
    • McMahon hits 11th homer of season vs. Twins
Ryan McMahon went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Twins.

Advice: Both of McMahon’s hits went for extra bases, but it was his homer in the eighth inning that stretched the Rockies’ lead to 5-2. It was McMahon’s 11th homer on the season and his first of June after he slugged six in May. He’s slashing a meager .154/.214/.282 on the month and has seen his average regress back to the norm after hitting over .300 the first month of the season.

    • Bednar gives up homer, earns 14th save vs. Cards
David Bednar allowed one earned run while picking up the save in Tuesday’s win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Bednar earned his 14th save on the season in this one, but it didn’t come easy. After giving up a leadoff homer to Nolan Gorman to kick off the ninth, Bednar would later walk José Fermin with two outs before a catcher’s interference put Iván Herrera on base. Bednar would strike out Michael Siani to end the game, but it was yet another rough outing for Bednar, who is sporting a 5.40 ERA on the year. He’s hard to trust in fantasy, but Bednar will continue to earn save opportunities in a Pirates bullpen that has underwhelmed in 2024. Rotoworld Today, 7:22 pm
    • Awaiting MRI results on arm
Woo was scratched from his scheduled start Tuesday against the White Sox as the Mariners await MRI results on his right arm, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: The right-hander missed the first six weeks of the season with elbow inflammation and is now potentially dealing with another arm issue a month later. Woo has been dominant in six starts for Seattle with a 1.07 ERA, 0.53 WHIP and 24:2 K:BB over 33.2 innings, but his outlook is now up in the air as he continues to be evaluated. • Managing hamstring issue
Arozarena was scratched from Tuesday's lineup against the Cubs due to right hamstring tightness, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Advice: It's unclear when exactly Arozarena picked up the injury as he started the previous eight games, with all but one of those starts coming in the outfield. The 29-year-old slugger should be considered day-to-day until more information is available. Rotowire.com Today, 3:21 pm

    • Randy Arozarena out Tuesday with hamstring issue
Randy Arozarena was scratched from Tuesday’s lineup due to right hamstring tightness.

Advice: Not good. Arozarena will presumably undergo some additional imaging after being scratched from the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Cubs to determine the severity of the issue. The 29-year-old corner outfielder has gotten off to an abysmal start to the season with a .604 OPS with eight homers and seven steals across 264 plate appearances in 64 games. There should be an official update on his status shortly. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 3:17 pm

    • Servais: Bryan Woo to undergo MRI on forearm
Bryan Woo has been scratched from Tuesday’s start against the White Sox due to a forearm injury.

Advice: Mariners manager Scott Servais told reporters Woo is undergoing an MRI on his right forearm and the team is awaiting the results before making a decision on his status. It’ll be lefty Jhonathan Diaz taking the ball for an emergency spot start in his place. The 24-year-old righty has been phenomenal this season, when healthy, compiling a microscopic 1.07 ERA, 0.54 WHIP and 24/2 K/BB ratio across 33 2/3 innings (six starts). It’s a bummer for fantasy managers since this was such a tasty matchup, but the positive news is that it sounds like he’s not facing an extended absence for the moment. There should be some clarity on his status in the coming days. Rotoworld Today, 2:58 pm

    • Scratched from start
Woo will not start Tuesday's game versus the White Sox, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Advice: The Mariners have not yet said why Woo won't start as scheduled Tuesday, but an update on his status should come in the near future. In the meantime, Jhonathan Diaz will come up from Triple-A Tacoma to start in Woo's place. Rotowire.com Today, 2:45 pm
