• On bench versus righty
Laureano is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Though he started in right field for both of the last two games after he was called up from Triple-A Gwinnett following Michael Harris' (hamstring) placement on the 10-day injured list, the right-handed-hitting Laureano could be headed for the short side of a platoon. Atlanta called up Forrest Wall from Triple-A earlier Monday, and he'll get the nod at the corner-outfield spot opposite Adam Duvall while Detroit brings righty Reese Olson to the hill. • Unlikely to return this week
Giants manager Bob Melvin said Sunday that it's likely a "stretch" for Wade (hamstring) to return from the 10-day injured list before Thursday's matchup with the Cardinals at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Ala., MLB.com reports.

Advice: Wade was diagnosed with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain after suffering the injury while sliding into second base in a May 27 win over the Phillies. Though a Grade 2 strain often entails a recovery timeline of more than a month, Wade said last week that his goal was to make it back for MLB's June 20 Negro Leagues tribute game as the Giants' designated hitter. Wade took steps forward this past week by taking batting practice on the field and increasing the intensity of his running progression, but the 30-year-old looks like he'll still at least one week away from being a realistic option to return from the IL. Wilmer Flores should continue to serve as the Giants' primary first baseman while Wade remains out. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:18 am

  • Productive in Sunday's win
Raley went 1-for-3 with an RBI double, a walk and a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: Raley's fourth-inning two-bagger plated Mitch Haniger with the first run of the afternoon and snapped a brief 0-for-7 skid that had encompassed Raley's three previous games. Despite Sunday's production, the offseason addition has tailed off at the plate after a hot start to June, posting a .182 average and .562 OPS with a massive 42.9 percent strikeout rate in his last 12 games. • Resumes running, fielding
Bouchard (ankle) has been cleared to run from home plate to first base at half speed in recent days in addition to participating in fielding drills, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bouchard is expected to take part in more running drills Monday, and the Rockies could be ready to have him head out on a minor-league rehab assignment shortly thereafter. The 28-year-old shouldn't be in line for an extended stay on the 10-day injured list, but he may not have a regular role waiting for him with the big club once activated. Bouchard had been serving as the Rockies' primary left fielder prior to landing on the shelf, but Nolan Jones has since returned from the IL and has reclaimed that role. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:19 pm

  • Set to lose work to Marsh
Dahl will start in left field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Following his June 3 call-up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Dahl made six starts in left field and went 5-for-23 with two home runs and two doubles. His time as a regular in the Philadelphia lineup is likely over after Brandon Marsh returned from the 10-day injured list Saturday, but the Phillies have room for both Marsh and Dahl in the outfield Sunday while center fielder Johan Rojas gets the afternoon off. • Huge game in return
Cave (head) went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, three RBI and three runs scored Saturday against Pittsburgh.

Advice: Cave was hit in the head during batting practice Friday but returned to the lineup one day later. He participated in Colorado's 16-run offensive outburst in a significant way, and he now has at least one hit in each of his last four starts. Cave entered the lineup with Brenton Doyle (knee) scratched, though he may find consistent playing time hard to come by assuming Doyle doesn't require a stint on the injured list. • Huge day at plate
Goodman went 4-for-5 with two home runs, a double, five RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 16-4 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Goodman got the party started with a 440-foot solo shot off Jared Jones to lead off the bottom of the third and added an RBI double in the following frame. The utility man, who drew the start at catcher on Saturday, then topped off his monster day at the plate by crushing a two-run homer in the seventh and an RBI groundout in the eighth. He finished with season highs in hits (four), RBI (five) and runs scored (three) after coming into the contest on an 0-for-14 skid to open the month of June. It also marked the first two-homer game of Goodman's career. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:54 am

  • Jake Cave triples, plates three in blowout win
Jake Cave went 3-for-5 with a triple and three RBI in a blowout win for the Rockies on Saturday over the Pirates.

Advice: Cave doubled in two in the fourth off Jared Jones, and singled in another run in the seventh. The triple was the third of the season for the speedy 31-year-old outfielder. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:58 pm

  • Hunter Goodman homers twice, drives in five
Hunter Goodman homered twice, picked up four hits and drove in five runs in a 16-4 shellacking of the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Goodman also scored three runs in a monster game for the 24-year-old. There haven’t been many for the infielder/backstop, but he showed off his impressive raw power with a pair of homers to center; one a solo shot and the other a two-run blast. Even with the big effort Goodman is only hitting .203/.247/.449, but that pop and his friendly home confines certainly make him a name to keep an eye on. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:57 pm
