    Advice: Raley is now hitting .306 on the season and has four home runs and 12 RBI to his name in 38 games. The lefty is riding a hot hand at the moment and is currently sitting on an eight-game hitting streak. Raley has absolutely raked this month, going 21-for-53 (.396) with seven extra-base hits.   • Dylan Moore homers twice as Mariners down Yankees
    Dylan Moore went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Yankees.

    Advice: Moore pulled a pitch on the outside black of the plate 402 feet to left field for a two-run homer to give the Mariners a lead in the top of the third. He would later single in the seventh inning to drive in Mitch Garver and homered again in the ninth, accounting for four of the Mariners’ six runs driven in on the afternoon.     Matt Vierling went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Tigers’ loss to the Royals.

    Advice: Vierling drove in two of the Tigers’ three runs they scored in the fourth inning. His one-out triple brought home Wencel Pérez and Mark Canha and helped cut into what was an 8-0 deficit at the time. Vierling has now driven in 18 runs on the season while also adding three homers.   • Mark Vientos has two hits, HR in loss to Guardians
    Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

    Advice: Vientos got a rare start against a right-handed pitcher and delivered a double and a home run on the night. The home run was admittedly on a hanging breaking ball that just sat at the top of the zone, but Vientos still crushed it 430 feet at 111 mph off the bat. He followed that up in the next inning with a 106.5 mph double, which gave him the two hardest-hit balls of the night. With Brett Baty struggling, there’s a chance that Vientos will have an opportunity to claim the starting third base role in New York, so he deserves to be added while he’s swinging the bat like this.     Advice: Ramos was placed on the injured list Friday (retroactive to Wednesday) with a strained left quad, and the fact he is already beginning an assignment in Charlotte means he will almost certainly be activated when eligible Saturday.     Carreras was not claimed by another club and has been outrighted by the Rockies to Triple-A Albuquerque, Patrick Lyons of JustBaseball.com reports.

    Advice: Carreras was designated for assignment by the Rockies on Sunday. Thus he lost his 40-man roster spot, but he will remain with the organization after going unclaimed.
