    Matt Vierling went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Tigers’ loss to the Royals.

    Advice: Vierling drove in two of the Tigers’ three runs they scored in the fourth inning. His one-out triple brought home Wencel Pérez and Mark Canha and helped cut into what was an 8-0 deficit at the time. Vierling has now driven in 18 runs on the season while also adding three homers.   • Removed with groin injury
    Grandal was removed from Tuesday's game against the Giants due to left groin discomfort, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

    Advice: Grandal doubled and came around to score during Pittsburgh's ninth-inning rally, but he was unable to come out to catch the top of the 10th frame. The severity of his injury isn't immediately apparent, but the Pirates should have more information on the veteran backstop's injury before the start of Wednesday's game.   • Mark Vientos has two hits, HR in loss to Guardians
    Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

    Advice: Vientos got a rare start against a right-handed pitcher and delivered a double and a home run on the night. The home run was admittedly on a hanging breaking ball that just sat at the top of the zone, but Vientos still crushed it 430 feet at 111 mph off the bat. He followed that up in the next inning with a 106.5 mph double, which gave him the two hardest-hit balls of the night. With Brett Baty struggling, there’s a chance that Vientos will have an opportunity to claim the starting third base role in New York, so he deserves to be added while he’s swinging the bat like this.   • Corey Julks tallies one steal, two RBI vs. Jays
    Corey Julks went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a steal in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Julks laced a two-RBI single in the fifth inning off Yusei Kikuchi to give the White Sox a 3-0 lead, and has now hit safely in three of his first four games this season. Julks was called up from Triple-A Charlotte last week after the White Sox acquired him in a trade just days before.     Eloy Jiménez was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

    Advice: Not good. Jiménez is currently in the midst of an extended offensive slump and will almost certainly wind up requiring a trip to the injured list. The oft-injured 27-year-old outfielder simply hasn’t been able to stay on the field the last few years, which diminishes his appeal for fantasy managers, despite his immense talent.     Jimenez was removed from Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays with a left hamstring strain.

    Advice: Jimenez appeared to be limping after scoring from second base during the fifth inning of Tuesday's contest, and Gavin Sheets later replaced him as Chicago's DH during the seventh.     Advice: Fraley is reportedly dealing with swelling after taking a pitch off his hand during the first inning of Tuesday's contest, but he seems to have avoided a serious injury.
