    Bailey (concussion) was cleared to return to action after being examined by Dr. Mickey Collins on Tuesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

    Advice: Collins, who is a concussion expert, cleared Bailey for baseball activities this past Friday and has now given the go-ahead for the catcher to play in games. While the Giants have not yet made a roster move involving Bailey, it would appear imminent. The 24-year-old has played just one game since May 4 because of concussion issues.     Danny Jansen went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and five RBI as the Blue Jays bested the White Sox 9-3 on Monday.

    Advice: Jansen, who hadn’t batted higher than fifth this season until today, had his big game from the second spot in the lineup. He’s batting .333/.397/.681 with five homers and just nine strikeouts through 78 plate appearances. It seems like more than just a hot streak, so he’s probably a top-10 fantasy catcher for the short term. Still, staying healthy has been quite an issue for the 29-year-old.
