• Miguel Rojas goes 3-for-5 in Dodgers’ victory
Miguel Rojas went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the Rockies on Monday.

Advice: Sure, Jazz Chisholm Jr. doesn’t seem to like him, but how badly did the Marlins botch things by trading Rojas for a prospect they didn’t even want a year and a half ago? Rojas is batting .292/.339/.460 in 121 plate appearances this season, and he’ll serve as the Dodgers’ primary shortstop while Mookie Betts is out. Meanwhile, the Marlins continue to roll with Tim Anderson, who might be the very worst player in the league. Rotoworld Today, 9:08 pm

  • Greg Jones hits first MLB home run
Greg Jones hit his first major league homer as a pinch-hitter Monday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Jones, a longtime Rays prospect, took fellow former Rays pitcher JP Feyereisen deep tonight. It’s Jones’ first hit in five at-bats since his callup 11 days ago. The Rockies, who are suffering for their utter inability to manage a 40-man roster, have given Jones just one start since calling him up from Triple-A. All indications are that he’ll head back to the minors in the near future, but it still might make sense for Colorado to give him some at-bats in the meantime. Rotoworld Today, 9:08 pm

  • Reaches base five times in loss
Chisholm went 2-for-2 with a triple, an RBI, a run scored, and three walks in Monday's 7-6 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: Chisholm drove in the Marlins first run with a two-out triple off Sonny Gray in the sixth. The Cardinals couldn't retire Chisholm in any of his five at-bats, and he drew three walks in a game for just the second time in his career. The center fielder also managed to extend a modest six-game hitting streak. He'll take a .266/.336/.449 slash line with 10 home runs, 35 RBI, and 13 steals into his next game. • Collects three hits
Alvarez went 3-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI in Monday's win against Texas.

Advice: Alvarez singled and scored in the fifth inning before delivering RBI base hits in the sixth and eighth frames. He entered Monday's game in a 2-for-14 (.143) slump since returning from the injured list. Alvarez produced his first multi-hit game since April 11. He's now slashing .243/.282/.338 with 12 RBI through 23 games this season. Rotowire.com Today, 8:41 pm
  • Homers, drives in four
Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Monday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: Nimmo knocked RBI singles in the second and fifth innings but most of his damage came in the fourth inning when he ripped a two-run homer. It was his second straight three-hit game and fourth consecutive appearance with multiple hits. That hot streak has bumped Nimmo's OPS from .708 to .756. He has eight home runs and 39 RBI through 67 games this season. Rotowire.com Today, 8:37 pm

  • Bailey blasts fifth home run against Cubs Monday
Patrick Bailey went 2-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run against the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Bailey’s home run was his fifth of the season. His solo shot in the eighth inning brought the Giants to within two runs before their ninth inning comeback. Bailey continues to hit as his average is up to ,286 with a .795 OPS and 23 RBI in 48 games with the Giants this year. Rotoworld Today, 8:37 pm
  • Smacks go-ahead homer in extras
Winn went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run and a pair of runs scored in Monday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Winn took A.J. Puk deep in the top of the 12th to give St. Louis a two-run lead, which was the difference in the game as Miami tallied a run in the bottom of the frame. The shortstop has settled in nicely atop the Cardinals lineup, where he's batted in his past 11 appearances and 18 times overall this season. The counting stats are lagging a tad with only four home runs, 26 RBI, and eight steals through 65 contests, but the 22-year-old's .295/.339/.429 slash line is impressive. • Knocks four hits
Lindor went 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored in Monday's win over Texas.

Advice: Lindor wasted no time making an impact Monday; through two innings, he was 2-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored. He singled and scored again in the fourth inning before capping off his big day with an RBI double in the fifth. It was Lindor's third four-hit game of the year and first since May 30. Over his last 24 games, he's gone 33-for-98 (.337) with 15 extra-base hits and 18 runs scored. His season slash line is up to .242/.313/.432 through 319 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 8:34 pm
