The Rockies have halted the rehab assignment in Triple-A Albuquerque for Jones (back) because of right knee soreness sustained on a slide, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Advice: A MRI came back clean for Jones, but he will rest a few days before getting back on the field. The outfielder was placed on the 10-day injured list April 30 with a low-back strain. He was then able to kick off his rehab assignment May 15. It seemed like the 26-year-old was nearing a return and was expected to be recalled after Sunday's game with Triple-A Albuquerque, but the injury on the slide has postponed that.
