• Leaves Tuesday with hand injury
Fraley left Tuesday night's game against the Padres after getting hit by a pitch on the hand in the first inning.

Advice: Fraley ran the bases after the HBP, but then retreated to the clubhouse at the end of the inning. Stuart Fairchild replaced Fraley in the game. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago

  • Rehab halted
The Rockies have halted the rehab assignment in Triple-A Albuquerque for Jones (back) because of right knee soreness sustained on a slide, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: A MRI came back clean for Jones, but he will rest a few days before getting back on the field. The outfielder was placed on the 10-day injured list April 30 with a low-back strain. He was then able to kick off his rehab assignment May 15. It seemed like the 26-year-old was nearing a return and was expected to be recalled after Sunday's game with Triple-A Albuquerque, but the injury on the slide has postponed that. • Not starting vs. lefty
Benintendi is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Benintendi is 3-for-20 over his past six games and will sit Tuesday as southpaw Yusei Kikuchi takes the mound for Toronto. Zach Remillard will handle left field and bat seventh. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago
  • Joins Giants' roster
The Giants added McKenna to the 26-man roster Tuesday.

Advice: McKenna is in the starting lineup for the Giants as the right fielder and batting seventh. He was claimed off waivers by the Giants from Baltimore Saturday. The outfielder was pushed off the Orioles' 40-man roster May 13 to make room for Austin Hays. McKenna, who owns a .224/.302/.332 career slash line across four seasons in the majors, now gets another shot with San Francisco. The 27-year-old provides depth to the Giants outfield that is now without Jung Hoo Lee (shoulder) for the rest of the season. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago

  • Sent down to Double-A
Sabol was optioned to Double-A Richmond on Tuesday.

Advice: With Sabol not in the lineup Tuesday versus the Pirates, it seemed to be due to a lefty being on the mound. Now it is apparent there was more to that with the catcher being optioned all the way down to Double-A Richmond. This comes with Patrick Bailey (concussion) being reinstated from the injured list and Ryan McKenna being added to the 26-man roster. Sabol was getting steady playing time with injuries to Bailey and Tom Murphy (knee). The 26-Year-Old had an OPS just under .800 and will now return to Double-A for the first time since 2022. • Giants option Blake Sabol back to Triple-A
Giants optioned C/OF Blake Sabol to Triple-A Sacramento.

Advice: Sabol heads out with Patrick Bailey returning from the concussion injured list just prior to Tuesday’s game against the Pirates. Rotoworld Today, 3:20 pm

  • Cleared for batting practice
Conforto (hamstring) has been cleared to take on-field batting practice, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Conforto landed on the 10-day injured list just over a week ago a right hamstring strain. Taking batting practice is certainly a positive step in his recovery, although running will be a bigger hurdle for him to clear and it's uncertain when he might be ready for that. Conforto is eligible for activation Wednesday, but it would appear he'll need a little more time than that. Rotowire.com Today, 2:02 pm

  • Luis Matos batting third on Tuesday vs. Pirates
Luis Matos is batting third on Tuesday against the Pirates.

Advice: Giants manager Bob Melvin has bumped a sizzling-hot Matos up to the heart of the order for the first time this season. The 22-year-old former top prospect has batted a sublime .385 (10-for-26) with two homers and a staggering 16 RBI in seven contests since returning to the majors back on May 12. He’s absolutely worthy of a speculative roster spot in all fantasy formats, despite some lackluster underlying quality of contact metrics. Rotoworld Today, 2:01 pm

  • Taking seat
Sabol is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: Sabol will dodge left-handed pitcher Martin Perez on Tuesday as Curt Casali fills in behind the dish and bats ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:56 pm
