• Nursing ankle issue
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Abreu twisted his right ankle in the dugout during Sunday's loss to the Tigers and is receiving treatment, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: The 24-year-old went 1-for-4 with a run scored before he suffered the injury and was replaced by a pinch hitter during the ninth inning. Abreu will have Monday's team off day to aid in his recovery before the start of a two-game series versus Atlanta on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:17 pm

  • Wenceel Pérez collects three hits in Tigers’ win
Wenceel Pérez finished 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored Sunday as the Tigers topped the Red Sox 8-4 in 10 innings.

Advice: The second run came as the automatic runner in the 10th. Each time it’s looked like Pérez’s hot start to his big-league career might be coming to a conclusion, he bounces back with something like this. The 24-year-old had gone 6-for-40 with one RBI in his previous 10 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:07 pm

  • Leaves Sunday's game
Isbel was removed from Sunday's 4-3 win over the Padres in the top of the sixth inning with a non-concussive head/neck injury. He went 0-for-1 prior to leaving the game.

Advice: The 27-year-old took a knee to the head as he collided with shortstop Bobby Witt in the outfield in the top of the fifth inning, per Anne Rogers of MLB.com. Isbel was initially able to stay in the contest, but after the Royals returned to the field for the top of the sixth, Garrett Hampson came on to replace him in center field. He'll have Monday's team off day to aid in his recovery ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Cleveland. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:06 pm

  • Jackson Chourio has HR, three RBI in win
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with a home run on three RBI in a 6-3 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Chourio got the Brewers on the board in the second inning by socking a three-run home run 385 feet at 102.5 mph off the bat. It was his sixth home run of the season, and he now has 19 RBI on the year. Chourio has an elevated strikeout rate which has helped keep his batting average down, but he has shown a fantasy-friendly profile with the six home runs and seven steals. It may not fully click this year for the 20-year-old, but the future is certainly bright. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:05 pm

  • Wilyer Abreu getting treatment on his ankle
Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Tigers that Wilyer Abreu is getting treatment on his ankle.

Advice: The 24-year-old outfielder slipped down the dugout steps late in the game and appeared to roll his ankle. He stayed in the game though, until he was pinch-hit for against left-hander Andrew Chafin in the ninth inning. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything serious, but still something that fantasy managers should take note of heading into next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:54 pm

  • Kyle Isbel leaves game after collision on Sunday
Kyle Isbel was pulled from Sunday afternoon’s game against the Padres with a non-concussive head and neck injury.

Advice: Isbel collided with teammate Bobby Witt and appeared to take a flying knee from the superstar shortstop right to his head. He remained in the game to finish the inning, but they ultimately thought better of it and decided to remove him. It sounds like a day-to-day type of situation, but fantasy managers should be sure to pay attention to his status over the next couple of days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:31 pm

  • Will Brennan goes 2-for-3 in loss
Will Brennan went 2-for-3 on Sunday in a loss to the Nationals. He also walked and scored a run.

Advice: While unspectacular, Brennan has found himself in the Guardians’ lineup nearly every game this season. He’s already matched his home run total from 2023 with five, but doesn’t offer much to fantasy managers besides consistent at-bats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:10 pm

  • Taking seat versus southpaw
Yastrzemski is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Yastrzemski has a .569 OPS in 34 at-bats over his past 10 games and will sit Sunday as lefty Nestor Cortes takes the ball for the Yankees. Luis Matos will shift to right field while Tyler Fitzgerald receives a start in center. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:21 pm
  • Sitting versus southpaw
Heyward is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
