• Smacks 10th homer
Ramos went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: The outfielder has been on a power surge with four homers over his last seven games, and he's added 11 RBI in that span. Ramos leads the Giants with 10 long balls this season, and every other player on the team with at least five homers has played in a minimum of 50 games compared to his 39. Ramos has added a .307/.382/.553 slash line with 35 RBI, 17 runs scored, one stolen base and seven doubles across 170 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 10:18 am
  • Goes deep in victory
Freeman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run Thursday in a 5-3 win against Colorado.

Advice: Freeman accounted for the Dodgers' final run of the contest with his fourth-inning solo shot to center field. The veteran first baseman is up to 11 long balls on the season, with five of them coming in June. Freeman has added to his standout month with a .354 average, 12 RBI, 17 runs, two stolen bases and a 14:10 BB:K through 18 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:22 pm
  • Heliot Ramos stays hot with 10th homer in loss
Heliot Ramos blasted a three-run homer on Thursday in the Giants’ loss to the Cardinals at Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama.

Advice: Ramos put San Francisco on the board with a no-doubter to right field in the third inning off Cardinals starter Andre Pallante for his 10th round-tripper of the season. The 24-year-old post-hype prospect has put together a pretty remarkable breakout campaign so far, batting .307 (46-for-150) with 10 homers, 35 RBI and one steal through 39 games. He’s homered eight times in 18 games since June 1. Unreal. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:05 pm
  • Swipes two, scores two
McCarthy went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases Thursday against the Nationals.

Advice: McCarthy collected three singles for his third multi-hit performance in the last four games and his 13th of the season, lifting his batting average to .298 in the process. He also added a couple of steals to lift his season total to 12, while the two runs scored now gives him 25 across 188 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:29 pm
  • Royce Lewis homers again versus Tampa Bay
Royce Lewis homered and walked twice against the Twins on Thursday.

Advice: Of course he homered. That’s already the ninth homer of the season for Lewis; a solid number for a first half of season, but even more impressive when you remember he’s only played 15 games. The 2017 first-overall pick has been remarkable when healthy enough to play, and his 2024 slash is a scorching .385/.459/.942. That’s obviously not sustainable, but he has the talent to be an elite fantasy player as long as he can stay on the field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm

  • Jake McCarthy has three hits, two steals in win
Jake McCarthy went 3-for-4 while stealing two bases in a 5-2 win for the Diamondbacks over the Nationals on Thursday.

Advice: He also scored two runs. McCarthy’s pair of steals give him 12 on the season, while the three-hit game sees his average improve to .298 on the campaign. The 26-year-old was a player who showed flashes of this type of talent in 2022, but at least over the first half of the season, it appears he’s put things together quite nicely. • Paul Dejong gets a day off on Thursday
Paul Dejong is not in the lineup for the White Sox on Thursday against the Astros.

Advice: Dejong will take a seat with Nicky Lopez sliding over to shortstop and Danny Mendick playing second base. The veteran is having a great month of June, hitting .246 with six home runs, nine runs, and 11 RBI in 17 games. The power is obviously really nice, but the poor team context around him is keeping his counting stats a little low given his home run total. He has also never hit for a high batting average and is still under .250 even with the power, so he’s really just an add if you’re looking for home runs from your middle infield spot. • Getting maintenance day
DeJong is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Astros.

Advice: He'll receive a breather for the day game after a night game, opening up a turn at shortstop for Nicky Lopez. DeJong had started each of the White Sox's previous 21 games and was one of the team's most productive hitters over that stretch, batting .235 with 11 extra-base hits (seven home runs, four doubles), 12 RBI and 10 runs. • Resting Thursday
Raleigh is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: Raleigh had started in each of the last five games and was behind the plate Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday, so he'll be given a maintenance day as the Mariners wrap up their series in Cleveland. Mitch Garver will pick up a start at catcher Thursday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:51 am
