    • Picks up second win
Megill (2-3) pitched five innings to get the win Sunday vs the Padres. He gave up two runs on five hits, while walking two and striking out five.

Advice: Megill worked around jams in the first and fifth innings to pick up his second win in his last three starts. The 28-year-old righty has struggled getting deep into games, as he's only pitched more than five innings in one of his six starts this season. Despite this, he's been a steadying presence in the Mets rotation with a 3.52 ERA and 1.30 WHIP that he'll carry into his next outing. Rotowire.com Today, 2:16 pm

    • Tylor Megill solid over five innings in win
Tylor Megill allowed two earned runs across five innings on Sunday against the Padres. He struck out five and walked two en route to his second victory.

Advice: Megill’s growth over the past few weeks has been nice to watch. Still fastball dominant, Megill has done a great job developing a bevy of passable secondary pitches to supplement his strong heater. He generated at least one whiff on six different pitches Sunday - five of which had exactly one whiff - while mostly staying out of trouble. Efficiency still eludes Megill, but he’s turned himself into a solid starter. Rotoworld Today, 2:12 pm

    • Ober allows one run in win over Athletics Sunday
Bailey Ober allowed one run in 6 1/3 innings and got the win in the Twins’ 6-2 victory over the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Ober gave up six hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his sixth of the year. The lone run off of Ober came on a Daz Cameron home run in the seventh inning. Home runs have been a problem for him this season. Ober has allowed 1.48 HR/9, which has been a contributing factor as to why his ERA is 4.81 despite a 4.04 xFIP. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to face the Athletics on the road next week.

    • Varsho hits grand slam for 11th home run Sunday
Daulton Varsho went 2-for-4 with a grand slam against the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: The home run was Varsho’s 11th of the season. He could’ve had an even bigger game as he came up with the bases loaded again in the eighth inning, but he struck out. While he’s only hitting .220, he’s produced in the power categories with 11 home runs and 35 RBI. His .238 ISO is even higher than his .207 iSO in 2022 when he hit 27 home runs with the Diamondbacks.

    • Shelved with ankle sprain
The Giants placed Harrison on the 15-day injured list Sunday with a right ankle sprain.

Advice: Harrison had been scheduled to start Sunday's game against the Angels, but his ankle injury will prompt the Giants to go with an impromptu bullpen day for the series finale, with left-hander Erik Miller serving as the team's opening pitcher. The severity of Harrison's ankle sprain isn't clear, but he'll be eligible to return from the IL as soon as June 28. After getting off to a rough start to the season through his first five outings, Harrison had rebounded with a 2-2 record, 3.40 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 44:17 K:BB in 50.1 innings across his subsequent nine starts. • Giants place Kyle Harrison on IL with ankle sprain
Giants placed LHP Kyle Harrison on the 15-day injured list with a right ankle sprain.

Advice: Harrison was set to start Sunday against the Angels, but the sprained ankle will cause him to miss that start and likely a couple more turns through the rotation. Erik Miller is going to start in place of Harrison on Sunday, and Spencer Bivens had his contract selected from Sacramento to replace the southpaw on the active roster. • On bench for matinee
Gelof is not in the lineup for the first game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Twins.

Advice: Gelof will get an extended breather of sorts, having also sat out Saturday, but he will likely be back in there to face Chris Paddack in the nightcap. After breaking out to the tune of an .841 OPS, 14 homers and 14 steals in just 69 games last season, Gelof has struggled to a .558 OPS, five homers and seven steals through 52 games in 2024. • Another multi-hit performance
Witt went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Witt went hitless in his first three at-bats before driving home Garret Hampson with a single in the seventh. The star shortstop would then go on to swipe his 20th bag of the season while also recording another single in the ninth, giving him his fourth multi-hit performance in his last five contests. Witt is now batting .375 in June with two homers, nine RBI, four stolen bases and eight runs scored. He also leads the majors with 59 runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 7:40 am
    • Picks up steal Saturday
Garcia went 1-for-3 with a walk, one stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Garcia has two steals over his last six games, though he hasn't driven in a run in that span. The veteran outfielder is up to six thefts, 13 home runs, 40 RBI and 34 runs scored while slashing a shaky .218/.276/.417 through 67 contests. He's been held without a hit in 12 of his last 20 games, which has had a significant negative impact on his production across the board. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:37 pm
