      Advice: Cease came into this one having given up four runs, nine hits and three walks in three starts this month. Today, he allowed five runs, nine hits and three walks in four innings. He also surrendered his fourth and fifth homers of the year. Chalk it up to a bad day against a talented lineup.       Matt Olson went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI versus the Padres in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader.

      Advice: Olson’s homer, a no-doubter off Dylan Cease, was his sixth of the year. That’s way off last year’s pace, but his barrel and hard-hit rates are completely intact.       Jordan Westburg is hitting cleanup for the Orioles on Monday against the Cardinals.

      Advice: With right-hander Sonny Gray on the mound, Ryan Mountcastle is on the bench, which will allow Westburg to slide into the clean-up spot. Westburg has worked to corral his chase rate, which had led to a 22.4 percent strikeout rate in May and a .281/.333/.526 slash line. Now that he’s making better swing decisions, the full-on breakout appears to be on. Ryan O’Hearn is starting at first base and Anthony Santander will hit 5th at designated hitter.       Judge went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-2 win against the White Sox.

      Advice: Judge capped the scoring in the contest with one of the shortest homers of his career -- a 339-foot poke to the short porch in right field. Regardless of the distance, it was another addition to this recent collection of his homers, as he's now gone deep seven times over his past 13 games.       Advice: Altuve led off the bottom of the first inning with a home run, his eighth of the season and first since April 28. He's hit a moderate slump in May, as he's hitting .243 with six RBI and nine runs scored across 17 games, though he has chipped in three stolen bases.       McMahon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Giants.

      Advice: McMahon extended his hitting streak to eight games, and he's now gone 13-for-33 (.394) with two homers and five RBI in that span. His first-inning blast off Jordan Hicks was just one of three hits the Rockies mustered in the contest. He yielded just one extra-base hit and the final run charged against him came after his departure, when Jacob Barnes allowed a walk, a single and a sacrifice fly to the first three batters he faced. After posting a 5.55 ERA last season, Williams boasts a 2.35 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP across 46.0 innings with a 4-0 record. Although the 31-year-old generated a quality start, he struggled with the long ball, as he allowed a two-run homer to Eddie Rosario in the fourth and a solo home run to Jesse Winker in the fifth.
