    • Delivers game-winning run
Marte went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 3-2 win over Seattle.

Advice: Marte's two-out double in the eighth plated Kevin Newman with the winning run. It was the second consecutive game that Marte has hit out of the three-hole, as manager Torey Lovullo made recent changes to accommodate for Corbin Carroll's slow start. Marte had been the team's primary leadoff hitter. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:43 pm

    • Christian Walker goes deep as D’Backs top Mariners
Christian Walker went 2-for-4 and clubbed a solo home run on Sunday as the Diamondbacks topped the Mariners 3-2 in Seattle.

Advice: Walker delivered the equalizer for the Diamondbacks in the second inning of this one, blasting a 422-foot (104.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Logan Gilbert. He also added a two-out double off of Gilbert in the fourth inning but wound up stranded there. With the two-hit attack, the 33-year-old slugger is now hitting .271/.383/.439 with five homers and 18 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:15 pm
    • Nolan Arenado goes 0-for-5 in loss to Mets
Nolan Arenado finished 0-for-5 in the loss to the Mets on Sunday, snapping a 25-game on-base streak.

Advice: Arenado struck out once and failed to hit a ball hard in his other four attempts. Up with one out and a man on third in the top of the 11th, he hit a 200-foot fly that turned into a double play because Willson Contreras forgot how many outs there were. Arenado has just one homer this year. His hard-hit rate is only 27%. He’s doing what he can with a .271 average and a .328 OBP, but the power just isn’t there right now. • On bench Sunday
Ahmed is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Ahmed started the previous 12 games but will take a seat Sunday after he posted a .616 OPS during that stretch. Tyler Fitzgerald will receive a start at shortstop and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:13 pm

    • Not in lineup Sunday
Blackmon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: Blackmon will sit Sunday as lefty Framber Valdez takes the mound for the Astros. Elias Diaz will rest his legs as the designated hitter while Jacob Stallings starts behind the plate. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:15 am
    • Nick Ahmed out of lineup Sunday vs. Pirates
Nick Ahmed is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: Ahmed will take a seat, and it sounds like the infielder is a little banged up at the moment; although there is no injury designation thus far. He did tell Susan Slusser that he is available off the bench if necessary. Tyler Fitzgerald gets the start in Ahmed’s place. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:10 am

    • Slugs homer in loss
Soler went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Soler's 10th-inning blast got the Giants within a run, but the comeback effort fell short. He went 0-for-12 with one walk and six strikeouts over the previous three games. Soler's power is at an acceptable level (five homers, .414 slugging percentage) through 28 games, but he's batting just .222 with a .736 OPS, well under his .250 average and .853 OPS from last season. • Hits bench against lefty
Rosario is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Though his playing time against right-handed pitching should be stable for the foreseeable future while Lane Thomas (knee) and Joey Gallo (shoulder) are on the shelf, the lefty-hitting Rosario is still expected to sit regularly versus southpaws. Rosario will hit the bench Sunday with lefty Ryan Weathers on the hill for Miami, paving the way for the righty-hitting Alex Call to draw a start in the corner outfield. • Charlie Blackmon not in lineup Sunday vs. HOU
Charlie Blackmon is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Astros.

Advice: Blackmon will head to the bench with left-hander Framber Valdez on the mound for the Astros. Sean Bouchard will get the start in right field for the Rockies and hit seventh. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:32 am
