    • Connects for third homer
Pena went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Pena had a productive weekend series at Mexico City, racking up a total of four runs scored in a pair of games. He also chipped in his third home run of the campaign Sunday, his first long ball since April 3. Pena has remained a subpar power contributor, though he also has four stolen bases and is hitting .321 across 115 plate appearances early this season. Rotowire.com 42 minutes ago

    • Takes extra-inning loss
Clase (1-1) took the loss Sunday against Atlanta, allowing one unearned run on one hit in 0.1 innings of work.

Advice: After striking out Ozzie Albies to open up the bottom half of the 10th frame, Clase surrendered a walk-off base hit to Austin Riley to bring home the designated runner. The outing snapped a streak of six consecutive scoreless appearances (six innings) and three straight perfect innings. Still, Clase is tied for the sixth most saves in baseball (8). • Knocks three hits
Jeffers went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Angels.

Advice: Jeffers knocked a double in the fourth inning followed by an RBI single in the fifth. He capped off his day with an RBI sacrifice fly in the eighth. He's collected multiple hits in three of his last five games, and Sunday was his second three-hit performance of the year. Jeffers boosted his slash line to .305/.392/.561 with 11 extra-base hits and 17 RBI through 97 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:13 pm
    • Stumbles again Sunday
Detmers (3-2) yielded five runs on nine hits over five innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Twins.

Advice: Detmers fired three perfect innings before the Twins broke the scoreless tie in the fourth inning. He ran into more trouble in the fifth, coughing up four runs on five hits. After an incredible start to his season in which he produced a 30:7 K:BB and 1.19 ERA through four starts, Detmers has taken two straight losses, yielding nine runs in 12 innings. His ERA climbed to 3.12 but he still owns a strong 37:10 K:BB through 34.2 frames. Detmers is projected for a road start in Cleveland next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 7:00 pm
    • Jarren Duran plates two as Red Sox defeat Cubs
Jarren Duran went 1-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a run scored as the Red Sox walked off the Cubs on Sunday night in Boston.

Advice: Duran delivered a big pair of insurance runs in the sixth inning with a two-out, two-run triple off of Yency Almonte. He also worked a walk off of Mark Leiter Jr. to begin the ninth inning, then scored the game-winning run on Tyler O’Neill’s walk-off single. On the season, the speedy 27-year-old outfielder is now hitting .252/.321/.374 with a homer, 13 RBI and eight stolen bases through his first 29 games. Rotoworld Today, 6:58 pm

    • Reid Detmers gives up five runs in loss to Twins
Reid Detmers struggled in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Twins, giving up five runs on nine hits over his five frames.

Advice: The 24-year-old hurler struck out three batters on the afternoon and didn’t walk a batter. He kept the Twins off the board through the first three innings, but they broke through in the fourth on an RBI single by Jose Miranda. They tacked on an additional four runs in the fifth inning — keyed by a two-run single off the bat of Austin Martin. Detmers got nine swings and misses on 87 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 33 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 37/10 K/BB ratio (34 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s tilt against the Guardians in Cleveland. Rotoworld Today, 5:02 pm
    • J.T. Realmuto clubs two-run homer in win Sunday
J.T. Realmuto went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI on Sunday as the Phillies triumphed over the Padres in San Diego.

Advice: The hard-hitting backstop victimized Padres’ right-hander Michael King for a 421-foot (107.2 mph EV) two-run shot in the sixth inning that extended the Phillies’ lead to 6-3. He also added an insurance run with an RBI single in the seventh inning. With his two-hit afternoon, Realmuto is now hitting .245/.292/.429 with five homers, 14 RBI and one stolen base (three attempts) on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:39 pm

    • Another impressive start
Skubal (4-0) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk over seven innings against the Royals. He struck out six.

Advice: Skubal began the day by allowing a leadoff double to Maikel Garcia followed by an RBI single by Bobby Witt, but the Royals were able to muster only two harmless singles and a walk the rest of the way. Skubal entered the contest with an ERA of 5.09 and only one win in eight decisions over 11 career appearances against Kansas City but quickly settled in to post his fourth start out of six this season in which he's allowed one or fewer runs with no more than five baserunners against. Skubal, whose strong outing dropped his season-long ERA to 1.72 with a 0.74 WHIP, will look to continue his early-season dominance in his next start, tentatively slated to take place in New York with a weekend matchup against the Yankees. • Skubal stymies Royals on Sunday
Tarik Skubal allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a win over the Royals.

Advice: Skubal struck out six and walked one while throwing 91 pitches in those seven innings. He allowed just one extra-base hit and posted an impressive 34 percent whiff rate and 35 percent CSW. Interestingly, Skubal threw just 13 combined sliders and curves today, opting instead to rely heavily on pounding the zone with his four-seam and sinker and getting a tremendous 55 percent whiff rate on his changeup. However, part of what has made Skubal so good is a deeper arsenal that now allows him to go away from certain pitches and still have dominant outings. He has a tougher matchup next week against the Yankees, but you start him everywhere. Rotoworld Today, 1:41 pm
