    Mike Trout walked and hit a three-run home run in five trips to the plate Monday, helping the Angels overcome the Rays.

    Advice: Trout broke a 1-1 tie with his third-inning three-run blast off of Alex Colome. He's up to 13 home runs on the season along with 30 RBI, eight stolen bases, and a .294/.381/.552 batting line. Expect to see him in the MVP award conversation once again at the end of the season.   • Kemp goes 0-for-2, ejected from Padres' loss
    Matt Kemp went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before being ejected in Monday's loss to the Mets.

    Advice: Kemp was ahead in the count 3-1 in the eighth inning, but was ejected mid at-bat by home plate umpire Dan Iassogna. Manager Bud Black was tossed as well.     Carlos Gomez went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, providing the Brewers their only run as they staved off the Cardinals on Monday.

    Advice: Gomez brought Jean Segura home on an RBI single in the first inning against Jaime Garcia. The two teams would exchange goose-eggs the rest of the way.
