• Still not swinging
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Muncy is on a "slow program" due to lingering oblique soreness and isn't currently swinging a bat, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Muncy resumed baseball activities last Tuesday, but his progress has since been slowed by continued soreness in his oblique. The third baseman is already eligible to be activated off the IL, but given Roberts' comments, it doesn't seem like Muncy is on the cusp of returning. He'll almost certainly head out on a minor-league rehab assignment prior to rejoining Los Angeles' lineup. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:10 pm

  • Crosses plate four times
Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and four total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-7 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Ramirez has five multi-hit efforts, five homers and 15 RBI over his last seven contests. He opened the scoring in the first inning with his team-leading 16th homer of the campaign. The third baseman has added a major-league-best 56 RBI with 41 runs scored, eight stolen bases and a .272/.328/.558 slash line over 54 games this season. Ramirez was batting as low as .227 with a .667 OPS on May 4, but he's powered up in a big way over the course of this month. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:52 pm

  • José Ramírez homers, scores four times in victory
José Ramírez homered, doubled, walked twice and scored four runs against the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: Ramírez has spent most of the year with a slash line well below his usual standards, but going 16-for-44 with seven homers and six doubles in his last 11 games has pushed him up to .272/.328/.558, and he now has eight more RBI (56) than anyone else in the majors. • Max Muncy (oblique) out until mid-to-late June
Max Muncy (oblique) remains shut down from baseball activities.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Tuesday that Muncy will remain sidelined for a couple more weeks after experiencing discomfort last week in his right oblique. There isn’t a definitive timetable for him to return at the moment, but it’s safe to assume he won’t be back until at least mid-to-late June. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:03 pm

  • Return date uncertain
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Muncy is still feeling his oblique strain and will proceed cautiously, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Roberts had previously indicated that Muncy could start a rehab assignment soon with a potential return to the Dodgers coming next week, though he backed off on that statement Friday. The third baseman began doing some work in the field Tuesday, but Roberts indicated that Muncy won't progress to hitting off a tee until the team feels he's fully recovered. With that in mind, it seems unlikely that Muncy will be ready to return to the big club until at least early June. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:40 pm

  • Goes deep again
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Angels.

Advice: Ramirez is 12-for-33 (.364) with six homers and 14 RBI over his last eight games. He's also leading the majors with 51 RBI thanks to his recent surge. The third baseman hasn't reached the 30-homer mark in either of the last two seasons, but he's halfway there now with 15 through 51 contests, to go with a hearty .267/.314/.539 slash line, 35 runs scored, seven stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple. • Ramirez blasts 15th home run Saturday
Jose Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Ramirez now has 10 home runs, 26 RBI and only eight strikeouts in his last 19 games. He’s the first player to reach 50 RBI overall this season. Ramirez’s average is up to .267 and the home run was his 15th on the year. After getting off to a slow start, he’s come on strong lately and is on pace for another great season. • Smacks pair of two-run homers
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's victory over the Angels.

Advice: With his performance against the Angels, Ramirez collected his 24th career multi-homer game. The veteran third baseman also moved atop the RBI leaderboard, pacing the league with 49. Ramirez has been on an absolute tear in May, hitting .277 (23-for-83) with nine homers, 15 runs scored, 25 RBI, and three steals this month. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:53 pm

  • J-Ram homers twice as Guardians defeat Angels
José Ramirez homered twice while driving in four runs in a 10-4 rout of the Angels on Friday.

Advice: Ramirez also drew a walk. The switch-hitting star has gone deep 14 times, and both long balls were off Patrick Sandoval on Friday. The 31-year-old scuffled early in the season, but he’s now on pace for a 40-plus homer, 20-plus stolen base season. That’ll work. Rotoworld Friday, 9:21 pm
