• Ryan Stanek notches third save for Mariners
Ryne Stanek picked up his third save with a perfect ninth Tuesday against the Astros.

Advice: Andrés Muñoz worked the previous two days, so he had this one off. Stanek has a 4.26 ERA and a 21/6 K/BB in 19 innings as the primary fallback in the Seattle pen. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:01 pm

  • Hit hard in loss
Feltner allowed seven runs (six earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Feltner finally had some struggles at Coors Field in his fourth home start of the campaign. Jose Ramirez tagged him for a two-run home run in the first inning and Josh Naylor added another two-run blast in the fifth. Feltner posted six scoreless innings against the Athletics in his previous start, but he took a step back Tuesday and continues to post poor numbers overall. He's at a 5.61 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 49:18 K:BB through 59.1 innings across 11 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Reds. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:08 pm

  • Ryan Feltner gives up seven runs to Guardians
Ryan Feltner was tagged for seven runs — six earned — in 4 1/3 innings by the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Feltner is a solid starting pitcher who might be interesting on another team, but there’s just nothing here for fantasy purposes for as long as he plays for the Rockies. He’s 1-4 with a 5.61 ERA through 11 starts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:49 pm

  • Collects second win
Smith (2-0) allowed a hit and struck out three without walking a batter over 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the win Tuesday versus the Rockies.

Advice: Smith got the final out of the sixth inning and also pitched the seventh after the Guardians regained the lead. The rookie right-hander has an eight-inning scoreless streak going, and he's posted a 13:1 K:BB in that span while adding a save and three holds. Smith continues to see an increasing role in the late innings, one that he's earned by pitching to a 1.82 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 37:7 K:BB over 24.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:45 pm
  • Matt Waldron knuckles his way to third win
Matt Waldron struck out eight over seven innings Tuesday in the Padres’ 4-0 shutout of the Marlins.

Advice: He moved to 3-5 with a 4.26 ERA. Waldron threw his knuckleball 27% of the time last season and was at 36% percent this season coming into the night. Against the Marlins, though, he used it a career-high 55% of the time and induced 11 of his 15 missed swings on the night. We’re still not overly impressed by the pitch, but the league is awfully unfamiliar at dealing with knuckleballs these days. He’s probably better off continuing to focus on it, especially since the rest of his arsenal is pretty unremarkable. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:13 pm
  • Avoids fracture
Manager Pat Murphy said after Tuesday's loss to the Cubs that Megill did not suffer a fracture on the line drive that hit his arm in the 10th inning, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

Advice: It remains unclear whether or not Megill will need to spend time on the injured list, but the 30-year-old reliever seems to have avoided the worst. The righty has been operating as Milwaukee's primary closer with Devin Williams (back) on the injured list, though the ninth inning may be given to Hoby Milner or Joel Payamps if Megill is forced to miss time. • Remains undefeated
Woods Richardson (2-0) earned the win Tuesday against the Royals, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Woods Richardson has yet to take a loss this season. However, he hasn't been eligible for the victory in three of his eight appearances. On Tuesday, Woods Richardson held the Royals scoreless until the fifth frame, where he yielded a walk, a double and a single to the first three batters he faced as part of a two-run inning. While the 23-year-old hasn't gone deeper than six innings in a game and owns a 6.75 ERA, he's done an excellent job limiting power and holds a 2.70 ERA across 40.0 innings. • Murphy: Trevor Megill didn’t fracture right elbow
Brewers manager Pat Murphy told reporters late Tuesday that Trevor Megill didn’t suffer a fracture when he was hit on the right elbow by a line-drive.

Advice: It’s an extremely encouraging update at Megill appears to have avoided serious injury after being struck directly on the right elbow by a 99-mph line-drive during Tuesday’s extra-inning showdown against the Cubs. The 30-year-old stopper is presumably day-to-day for the moment with a contusion, but it wouldn’t be surprising if he wound up requiring a trip to the injured list, just to bring in a fresh arm. • Sharp vs. Reds
Gibson (4-2) earned the win Tuesday over Cincinnati, allowing one run on two hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Gibson was excellent Tuesday, as he held the Reds to one hit until Will Benson ended his shutout bid with a homer in the sixth inning. The 36-year-old Gibson has held opponents to two earned runs or fewer in eight of his last nine outings. He's lowered his ERA to 3.60 with a 1.22 WHIP and 52:25 K:BB across 11 starts (65 innings) this year. Gibson's currently in line for a road matchup with the Astros in his next outing early next week.
