    Matt Mervis went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored on Wednesday against the Mets.

    Advice: Mervis doubled to lead off the fifth inning and took third base on a wild pitch. A sacrifice fly by Pete Crow-Armstrong brought Mervis in to score the only run of the game.   • Emmanuel Rivera scores twice as Marlins roll
    Emmanuel Rivera went 2-for-2 with a pair of runs scored as the Marlins rolled past the Rockies on Wednesday night in Miami.

    Advice: Rivera singled off of Dakota Hudson with two outs in the second inning, but was left stranded at first. He was then hit by a pitch to start the fifth inning and scored the game’s first run on an RBI knock by Luis Arraez. The 27-year-old then singled in the sixth inning before drawing a walk and scoring on a two-run single by Dane Myers in the ninth.     The Astros recalled Cabbage from Triple-A Sugar Land on Wednesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: Cabbage was returned to Triple-A after serving as the 27th man for the Astros' two-game series with the Rockies in Mexico City last weekend, but he'll be back with the big club just two days later after Houston optioned struggling first baseman Jose Abreu to their spring training facility.
