    • Gives up two homers in loss
Brown (1-3) went four innings, allowing three runs on three hits while striking out three in Saturday's loss to the Reds.

Advice: Brown gave up multiple home runs in a game for the first time in his young career. Jeimer Candelario took him deep in the first inning and then T.J. Friedl got him for the go-ahead homer in the third. The rookie right-hander has now given up eight runs in his last two starts after a stellar showing of seven no-hit innings vs the Brewers on May 28th. Brown will take a 3.58 ERA into his next start, currently slated vs the Cardinals on Friday. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

    • Danny Jansen doubles, drives in two in win
Danny Jansen went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the Blue Jays 7-0 win over the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Jansen put the Blue Jays on the board in the first inning with a sacrifice fly to score Spencer Horwitz from third. He then doubled in the fifth to bring Bo Bichette home from second and came around to score on a base hit by Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Jansen added a base hit in the ninth. The 29-year-old backstop is slashing .273/.348/.488 with five homers, 21 runs scored, and 15 RBI across 138 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 4:21 pm

    • Potentially significant injury
Manager Scott Servais said postgame that he was "concerned" about the heel injury that held France out of Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Royals, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Advice: France was scratched from Saturday's lineup with what was initially deemed a foot injury. However, Servais shared that France is actually dealing with a heel injury that stems from the first baseman being hit by a pitch Friday. France will continue to be evaluated and a status update is expected to be delivered sometime Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 3:57 pm

    • Brown allows three runs in four innings Saturday
Ben Brown allowed three runs in four innings and took the loss against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Brown gave up three hits, walked one and struck out three. He allowed five runs in his last start, which was also against the Reds. Brown has completed five innings in only three of his eight starts for the Cubs this year. He’s still looking for his first win as a starting pitcher. Outside of his performance on May 28th against the Brewers when he went seven innings, allowed no runs and recorded 10 strikeouts, Brown’s been fairly pedestrian when starting. The 24-year-old right-hander is tentatively scheduled to face the Cardinals at home next week.

    • Scratched from lineup
France was scratched from the Mariners' lineup ahead of Saturday's game versus Kansas City due to an apparent foot injury, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Advice: The Mariners haven't offered any information regarding how serious France's injury is, but the team should offer an update once it takes a closer look at him. Luke Raley will move to first base to replace France, shifting Dylan Moore to left field while Ryan Bliss covers second base. Rotowire.com Today, 12:19 pm

    • Ty France scratched from Saturday’s lineup
Ty France was scratched from the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Royals.

Advice: No word yet on the specific issue or severity, but France will take a seat with Luke Raley taking over at first base. Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports France was in some apparent discomfort during pregame defensive drills. There should be an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld Today, 12:08 pm

    • Not starting Saturday
Suzuki (oblique) isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Suzuki was hit in the left side by a throw while stealing second base during Friday's loss, and he was later taken out of the game as a precaution after he felt his oblique tighten up. It's still unclear how serious his injury is, but the Cubs will play it safe Saturday and keep him sidelined. His absence will move Christopher Morel into the DH spot while Patrick Wisdom starts at third base. Rotowire.com Today, 11:01 am

    • Seiya Suzuki out Saturday due to side tightness
Seiya Suzuki (side) is not in the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Reds.

Advice: It doesn’t come as a surprise to see the Cubs proceeding cautiously here after Suzuki left Friday’s showdown for precautionary reasons due to left side tightness. The 29-year-old corner outfielder has dealt with oblique issues on both sides over the last few years, so it’s understandable that Chicago doesn’t want to take any chances here. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 10:43 am

    • Mashes another homer
Santander went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 6-3 win over the Rays.

Advice: Santander's slow start to the season stood out compared to most of the rest of the Orioles, but he's warmed up significantly. Over his last 15 games, the outfielder is hitting .291 (16-for-55) with six homers and 11 RBI. He's homered in four of his last seven contests and now has a .227/.306/.472 slash line with 13 long balls, 36 RBI, 33 runs scored and no stolen bases over 58 games this season.
