    Advice: Carlson completed a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis and got through a workout at Busch Stadium on Saturday to clear the way for his season debut. The 25-year-old missed the first month-plus of the season with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder.     Jack Suwinski went drove in the winning run with a pinch-hit single as the Pirates won a 1-0 game against the Rockies on Saturday.

    Advice: Suwinski stepped in to pinch-hit with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. It just took one run to walk it off in the scoreless game. He delivered just that, knocking a single to left field to end the game.     Christopher Morel went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk on Saturday against the Brewers.

    Advice: After drawing a walk in the first inning, Morel took Tobias Myers deep for a two-run homer in the third to extend the Cubs lead. Morel can certainly hit homers in bunches, as he’s now gone yard in three straight games and four of his last six. The 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .213/.292/.426 with seven homers, 20 runs scored, 20 RBI, and three steals across 137 plate appearances. Despite the low batting average, Morel has significantly cut down his strikeout rate so far this season, a good sign that we can see his numbers improve as we get into the summer.
