    Advice: It hasn’t come easy for Neris, but he just keeps getting by in the ninth inning. He was summoned with a two-run lead against the Brewers and gave up a run on two hits and a walk before closing it out for his sixth save. Mark Letter Jr. tossed two scoreless innings with three strikeouts before handing it over to Neris. He’ll be someone to watch if Neris struggles to convert saves going forward.     Jameson Taillon tossed six shutout innings with seven strikeouts in a win over the Brewers on Saturday.

    Advice: Taillon continued his excellent start to the season on Saturday, shutting down the Brewers over six innings. He scattered two hits and two walks, striking out a season-high seven batters. The 32-year-old right-hander has now allowed just three runs over 24 innings for a 1.13 ERA, 0.88 WHIP, and a 16/5 K/BB ratio. He’ll take on the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Friday.     Tobias Myers allowed four runs across three innings in a loss to the Cubs on Saturday.

    Advice: Myers third start of the season was his shortest as he struggled to find the zone. Nico Hoerner led off the first inning with a solo homer off Myers, then three walks and a groundout brought a second run in before he was able to get out of the inning. Myers tossed a clean second frame, then gave up a two-run homer to Christopher Morel in the third.     Nationals manager Davey Martinez said Gray (elbow) threw about 35 pitches in Saturday's bullpen session, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

    Advice: Gray's session Saturday marked the first time the right-hander has thrown off the mound since landing on the 15-day IL with a right flexor strain, and Martinez noted that the right-hander didn't suffer any setbacks. Gray is set for another bullpen appearance next Tuesday and Wednesday, per Andrew Golden of The Washington Post. Gray will need a few more bullpen sessions before beginning his rehab assignment.     Advice: Go was part of the Padres' trade package to acquire Luis Arraez on Friday. Before the trade, Go was demoted to Double-A San Antonio, where he has posted a 4.38 ERA and 1.49 WHIP over 12.1 frames.
