    • Picks up fourth steal
Reynolds went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and one run scored in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Reynolds has swiped two bags over his last three games, and he's hit safely in five straight contests (6-for-21). The outfielder isn't one to run a lot -- he had a career-high 12 steals in 145 games last season, so he's roughly on track to match that number in 2024 after picking up his fourth theft of the campaign Sunday. Reynolds has added a .254/.341/.407 slash line with five home runs, 20 RBI, 18 runs scored, 12 doubles and a triple through 48 contests overall. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:27 pm

    • Andy Pages homers in win over Reds
Andy Pages went 1-for-4 with a home run in a win over the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Many people were cutting bait on Pages after he went through an extended cold streak to start May, but it’s telling that the Dodgers opted to stick with him and demote James Outman to Triple-A instead. While Pages’ strikeouts have increased in May, he has always posted solid walk rates in the minors, so it was fair to assume he would adjust his approach to counter how pitchers started to attack him. The 105 mph home run off Hunter Greene is another reminder of the power that he possesses, and if the Dodgers are going to keep him in the starting lineup, he likely deserves to at least be on your bench. • Back in lineup Sunday
Carter (back) is in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: Carter has been available off the bench for the last two games against Los Angeles, but he will return to left field for the first time since May 8 as Texas finishes out its series. The lefty-batting outfielder is slashing .211/.301/.406 with 15 RBI and five home runs across 142 plate appearances so far this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:47 am

    • Evan Carter returns to lineup against Angels
Evan Carter (back) is hitting seventh and playing left field against the Angels on Sunday.

Advice: Carter will be back in the lineup after missing over a week with a lower-back issue. The rookie has been up-and-down thus far in 2024, but has the talent to be a major fantasy contributor as long as he’s healthy enough to do so. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:34 am

    • Not in lineup Saturday
Carter (back) is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus the Angels.

Advice: Carter will remain on the bench for another contest Saturday, though it may be a result of the team facing left-hander Patrick Sandoval and not his back injury. Manager Bruce Bochy said Friday that the outfielder would be available off the bench versus Los Angeles and Carter did end up appearing in the game, going 0-for-1. Carter will look to return to the lineup for Sunday's series finale, but in the meantime, Robbie Grossman will draw the start in left field and bat sixth Saturday. Rotowire.com Saturday, 12:24 pm

    • Evan Carter sitting against lefty on Saturday
Evan Carter is not in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Angels.

Advice: Carter’s exclusion from Saturday’s lineup card appears to be purely matchup driven with southpaw Patrick Sandoval on the mound for Los Angeles, but he’s out of the lineup for a seventh straight contest since last weekend recovering from a lower-back issue. The 21-year-old former top prospect should be available to pinch-hit, if needed, on Saturday night. He should return to the lineup on Sunday afternoon to face righty José Soriano. • Evan Carter (back) available off bench on Friday
Evan Carter (back) was held out of the Rangers’ starting lineup once again on Friday night, but will be available off the bench.

Advice: The 21-year-old outfielder has been sidelined since Saturday due to stiffness in his lower back. The good news is that he’s progressing and won’t require a trip to the injured list, and likely wouldn’t have been in the starting lineup anyways on Friday with left-hander Tyler Anderson taking the ball for the Angels. Expect Carter to return to the starting lineup at some point over the weekend. Rotoworld Friday, 2:30 pm

    • Available off bench Friday
Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said that Carter (back) is available off the bench for Friday's series opener against the Angels, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Carter hasn't played since May 10 against the Rockies due to lower-back inflammation. He received a cortisone shot Monday, and while he won't be starting Friday, he could make a return to the lineup over the weekend. Carter is slashing .216/.303/.416 with six doubles, five home runs and 15 RBI over 142 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:23 pm

    • Ronald Acuña Jr. back in the lineup on Friday
Ronald Acuña Jr. is back in the lineup, batting first for the Braves against the Padres on Friday.

Advice: Acuña received the day off on Wednesday as the Braves look for him to break out of his slump. He went 0-for-5 at the plate on Tuesday, which dropped his average to .245 on the season. Acuña’s .696 OPS is the lowest of his career. Hopefully the short break helps him get on track. Rotoworld Friday, 12:46 pm
