    • Ryan McMahon powers Rockies to win over Rangers
Ryan McMahon went 4-for-5 with an RBI on Saturday, leading the Rockies to an 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: McMahon served as Colorado’s primary offensive catalyst in this one, kicking off a six-run outburst in the seventh inning with an RBI single off Rangers reliever David Robertson. The 29-year-old corner infielder has been a steady, yet unspectacular, fantasy contributor for a couple seasons now. He’s off to a really nice start this year, batting .303/.391/.462 with 16 runs scored, five homers and 21 RBI through 170 plate appearances in 39 games. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:54 am

    • Breaks out with four hits
McMahon went 4-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: McMahon entered Saturday just 2-for-21 (.095) over his last six contests. The only downside to his performance in this contest was that all four hits were singles. The third baseman is up to a .303/.391/.462 slash line with five home runs, 21 RBI, 16 runs scored and no stolen bases over 39 contests this season. He's never hit higher than .254 or slugged better than .450 in a full season, so the first quarter of the 2024 campaign has essentially been McMahon at his absolute best, which consequently raises a red flag for regression later in the year. • Luis Arraez hits walk-off single against Dodgers
Luis Arraez hit a walk-off RBI single to give the Padres a 2-1 win over the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: With the score tied 1-1, Arraez picked up his first game-winning hit as a member of the Padres with a single to score Tyler Wade off Michael Grove. The 27-year-old has just seven RBI in his time with the Marlins and San Diego, but he should have more chances to drive in runs — even at the top of the lineup — now that he’s not playing for one of the worst teams in baseball. • Logs three doubles in loss
Turang went 3-for-4 with three doubles, an RBI and a run scored during Wednesday's 6-4 loss to Kansas City.

Advice: Turang reached safely four times Wednesday, tagging Brady Singer, Nick Anderson and Tyler Duffey for doubles during the contest while also logging a walk. Turang has been one of the best second basemen in baseball this season, ranking third at the position with a .316 batting average while owning a .826 OPS and a 13.7 percent K Rate. • Luis Arraez scores two runs in win over Cubs
Luis Arraez went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs scored on Wednesday, leading the Padres to a 3-0 victory over the Cubs.

Advice: Arraez wound up reaching base safely in two of his four plate appearances, crossing the plate in the first and fifth innings, respectively, on run-scoring hits from teammates Manny Machado and Jake Cronenworth. The 27-year-old batting title contender has a pair of multi-hit performances in five contests since arriving last week in San Diego. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:17 pm

    • Brice Turang collects three hits in Brewers’ loss
Brice Turang went 3-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday in the Brewers’ loss to the Royals.

Advice: Turang capped off a three-hit performance with a run-scoring double off Royals reliever Tyler Duffey in the ninth inning, but wound up being stranded in scoring position representing the potential tying run. The 24-year-old speedster has made the most of his opportunity this season, emerging as Milwaukee’s everyday second baseman, posting an .826 OPS with two homers and 14 steals through 34 contests so far. • Luis Arraez not in lineup Tuesday vs. Cubs
Luis Arraez is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Cubs.

Advice: Arraez takes a seat to open Tuesday’s contest at Wrigley Field with southpaw Shota Imanaga toeing the rubber after starting three consecutive games for San Diego since being acquired over the weekend from the Marlins. The 27-year-old second baseman has five hits and one RBI in 15 at-bats over three contests since being picked up by the Padres. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:04 pm

    • Idle Tuesday
Arraez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against Chicago.

Advice: After starting and batting leadoff in each of his first three appearances with the Padres, Arraez will get the day off Tuesday. While it's possible Arraez will cede work against lefties -- the Padres are facing southpaw Shota Imanaga on Tuesday -- Arraez was part of the team's lineup Monday against Justin Steele, who's also left-handed. Manny Machado will DH on Tuesday while Donovan Solano starts at third base. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:53 pm

    • Brice Turang out of lineup Monday vs. Royals
Brice Turang is out of the starting lineup against the Royals on Monday.

Advice: Turang will get a rare day off with Joey Ortiz getting a start at second base while he rests. In 2024, Turang has given the Brewers and fantasy teams 14 stolen bases, which has been a pleasant surprise. Rotoworld Monday, 1:42 pm
