    Massey (back) will begin a rehab assignment Tuesday at Triple-A Omaha.

    Advice: On the shelf with a low back ligament sprain, Massey received an injection May 31 and appears to have responded favorably. He was cleared to resume baseball activities early last week and has checked out fine after steadily increasing the intensity of his hitting and running over the last several days. The Royals haven't determined how long Massey's rehab assignment will last, but he may only need two or three games with Omaha to get his timing back at the plate before potentially making his return from the 10-day injured list as soon as this weekend.     Wacha (foot) will make a rehab start Monday in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

    Advice: According to Anne Rogers of MLB.com, Royals manager Matt Quatraro said Sunday that Wacha may only need the one outing in the minors before returning from the 15-day injured list and making his next start with Kansas City this coming weekend in Arlington versus the Rangers. Wacha threw a three-inning simulated game Thursday, so he could be stretched out for close to a typical starter's workload if he's able to tack on another inning during Monday's outing. If that happens, Wall would make for an interesting deep-league addition in fantasy leagues given his speed, as he's stolen 11 bases this season at Gwinnett and swiped 52 bags in 2023.     Advice: Following his June 3 call-up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Dahl made six starts in left field and went 5-for-23 with two home runs and two doubles. His time as a regular in the Philadelphia lineup is likely over after Brandon Marsh returned from the 10-day injured list Saturday, but the Phillies have room for both Marsh and Dahl in the outfield Sunday while center fielder Johan Rojas gets the afternoon off.     Advice: Sosa gave the Phillies an early 2-0 lead when he homered off Grayson Rodriguez in the second inning. Sosa hit .306 in May with three home runs, but he has gone just 8-for-37 with one long ball in June. Laureano had a lowly .494 OPS in 31 games with the Guardians earlier this season before getting released.
