• Plates run with sac fly
Grichuk went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Grichuk, starting for the first time in five games, delivered the Diamondbacks' final run with a sacrifice fly as part of a three-run fifth inning. Arizona faced a string of right-handers the last week, forcing the righty-hitting outfielder to the bench. Rotowire.com Today, 4:39 am
  • Goes deep in defeat
Profar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Reds.

Advice: It looked like San Diego's offense could be in for a big day when Profar led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo shot off Nick Lodolo, but that turned out to be the only hit for the team until the ninth frame. The long ball extended Profar's hitting streak to six games, and he's batted .364 (8-for-22) with a pair of homers, four RBI and six runs during that stretch. Profar has served as San Diego's leadoff man each of the past two contests, and he could stick there for a while if he continues to hit well. Through 122 plate appearances, Profar is slashing .301/.402/.485 with four homers, 19 RBI, 16 runs and a stolen base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:20 pm
  • Tyler Nevin goes 2-for-3, hits third home run
Tyler Nevin went 2-for-3 with a homer against the Pirates in Monday’s win.

Advice: It was his third homer. Nevin has a nice .301/.350/.452 line in 80 plate appearances for the A’s, but the exit velocity numbers aren’t really there to back it up and he might find himself out of favor once the A’s get healthier; it’s doubtful he would have been claimed in the first place if not for Miguel Andujar’s injury. • Pops homer in loss
Isbel went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI single in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Blue Jays.

Advice: Isbel's bat has started to come around -- he's gone 7-for-21 (.333) with four extra-base hits over his last seven games. The outfielder has held onto a strong-side platoon role in center field this season. He's slashing .225/.262/.388 with three homers, three stolen bases, eight RBI, 10 runs scored, two doubles and a triple over 85 plate appearances. Isbel still most frequently bats at the bottom of the Royals' lineup when he's playing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:14 pm
  • Jo Adell homers from two hole in Angels’ win
Jo Adell hit his fourth homer Monday as the Angels edged the Phillies 6-5.

Advice: Adell was moved into the second spot in the lineup tonight, and while we’re not sure that’s exactly the right spot for an awful baserunner who strikes out a whole lot, it’s closer to where he belongs than where he was batting previously. Adell remains a flawed player, but he definitely seems to have made some gains again this year after also showing signs of progress last season. Whether he’s a long-term asset in mixed leagues remains to be seen, but he’s worth using right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:21 pm

  • Runs wild again Monday
Young went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and two stolen bases in Monday's 7-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Both pilfers came in the fifth inning, as Young stole second then teamed up with CJ Abrams on a double steal after the shortstop drew a walk. Young's 12 stolen bases on the season are third in the majors behind Elly De La Cruz (18) and Brice Turang (13), and he's slashing .328/.368/.391 through 21 games. Victor Robles (hamstring) is set to begin a rehab assignment this week as he nears his return from the IL, but Young seems to have a firm hold on the starting job in center field for the Nationals. • Not cleared for baseball activities
Heyward (back) has not yet been cleared to resume baseball activities, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: The Dodgers' last update on Heyward was that he was still experiencing soreness in his back, and it doesn't sound as though he's progressed much over the last week. Considering Hayward hasn't seen any game action since April 1, he'll likely need a considerable amount of time to ramp up once cleared. A timetable for his return should begin to come into focus once he can resume baseball drills. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:01 pm

  • Heyward (back) still not cleared for activities
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters before Monday’s game that Jason Heyward still hasn’t been cleared for baseball activities.

Advice: To be more specific, Roberts said that he “doesn’t believe” Heyward has been cleared for activities, which is a little weird. Heyward will certainly need a rehab assignment before he’s ready to play, but that assignment may not come until next week at the earliest. There’s a good chance he’s not back with the Dodgers until closer to the end of May than the beginning. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:59 pm

  • Progressing through running program
Andujar (knee) is expected to run the bases Saturday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Advice: This is another step in the right direction for Andujar, who was cleared to begin a running program April 23. If he's able to work out Saturday without issue, he'll likely be sent out on a rehab assignment in the near future. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:48 pm
